I purchased a Groupon for this salon and made an appointment online for 9am. I then saw the salon hours and noted they opened at 10am, so how was I to have an appointment at 9am? I tried multiple times to call to inquire about my appointment, with no answer. I then went in person and was told that the online booking system was made by the owner for herself, and no other staff have access to it. I was also told they do not accept Groupons - only the owner does but she was on holiday.

The lady I spoke with in the salon was lovely but overall I’d say terrible customer service on the owners part. On the Groupon page it says the service can be booked with my ANYONE which is clearly untrue.

Would NOT recommend.

I went to A La Mode salon and Masi was my hair stylist. The best hair stylist you can find in Vancouver! She pays extreme attention to detail and puts in 100% effort at a very affordable price. I would definitely recommend her

I just had my hair highlights done by Masi and wow, I’m thrilled! 🙂
Masi is not only super talented but also so warm and welcoming. She listened to what I exactly wanted and made sure I left with gorgeous highlights that I absolutely love. The whole experience was fun and relaxing, thanks to her friendly vibe.
If you’re thinking about getting your hair done, Masi’s your person and I highly recommend her.

TERRIBLE. Would NOT RECOMMEND for Balayage. I went here with a Groupon and the results were horrible, over bleached and streaky (see photos). It cost $140 as they charged an extra $35 for toner. I guess you get what you pay for. Anna was a nice lady but does not seem to have experience with Balayage. When I complained they said it was a timing issue (not true - I was there for over 4 hours and left with wet hair as I was running late). They then offered to fix it on another day but I no longer trusted them .They only gave me a 25% refund so I am now out of pocket as I have to go to another salon to get it fixed.
