The most secure unsecured airport you’ll ever be in. These are trustworthy folk who take you at your word. Planes can often be delayed but obviously at no fault of the workers. The facilities themselves are not much to look at. There’s a good spot for a layover nap in the corner by the green tables.
The new airport should be opening soon and is looking very good. I am excited to be back and see it.

Close enough to walk in to town between flights. Quick stop for snacks and subs and drinks. A few gift items at the store. Meal voucher was accepted there also when out flight was cancelled.

The airport is fine it will be much more improved when the new terminal is completed.

The security are excellent and very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect to much otherwise.

I travel a lot between communities and Rankin airport is by far the worse for delayed flights from average 3 to 5 hrs or more even in the summer especially if youre on a Calm Air flight. Oh its calm alright cause youre not flying most of the time.

Filthy, cold. Bathrooms are disgustingly filthy with little to no supplies. Only bright side is the convenience shop on site.
