From the cozy, vibrant interiors to the warm hospitality, everything was spot on. Huge thanks to Naheed for her amazing service and perfect dish recommendations — she truly made our night!

The kebabs were out of this world — smoky, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every dish was bursting with authentic Afghan flavour and cooked to absolute perfection.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

So we ordered the CHICKEN QUORMA & AFGHAN CHICKEN RICE with some spice!

The AFGHAN CHICKEN RICE delicious and spiced perfectly medium heat and served piping hot! Very flavourful and delicious, I can handle the heat and spice! The plate was full of flavourful and food and great comfort of memories of some past great dishes I've eaten!

My dad ordered the CHICKEN QUORMA, very satisfying as he claimed, because he had none left on his plate! Food was mild and the hear was perfect with a balance of heat!

I also ordered the house dark brew, similar to a GUINNESS, but different in taste, in a good way. It had with it hints of coffee, caramel and some burnt dark chocolate undertones! My dad ordered the house coffee, which was strong and flavourful!

We'll be back as the staff know us very well and the service was impeccable!

A Hidden Treasure Where Every Bite (and Sip) Tells a Story

I’ve been a devoted fan of Afghan Kitchen from the very first bite, and each visit reminds me why this place is such a rare gem. This is not just a restaurant, it’s a place full of warmth, soul, and heart, where the care and passion of the owners and staff shine through in every dish and every interaction.

The food is truly unforgettable. My absolute favourites include the tender, perfectly seasoned lamb kebabs, the rich and flavour-packed Banjan (eggplant dish), and the crispy, spiced Afghan Nuggets — chunks of juicy chicken breast wrapped in an irresistible Afghan coating. The Afghan Chicken, braised in a bold, deeply spiced sauce, is another standout.

Don’t miss the Bolani (an absolute must), along with their delicate Mantu and crisp, golden Pakawaras , each dish is made with skill and love.

Even the drinks here take you on a journey of flavour. Their specialty beverages are unique and thoughtfully crafted. My personal favourite is the Gulang Rose, which is fragrant, refreshing, and unlike anything else. My daughter tasted a Mango mint drink today and was it ever a delight! It had a popsicle in the drink! (Missed taking a pic of that!) Every sip promises to tantalize your taste buds and complement the meal perfectly.

And of course, dessert is a must. Whether it’s Mum’s Cake (pure comfort on a plate), the creamy, fragrant Firni (milk pudding), or the exquisite Rose Cardamom Gelato, there’s no wrong choice, only the struggle of choosing just one!

Afghan Kitchen is so much more than just a place to eat — it’s an experience of hospitality, culture, and culinary artistry. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This time, they also had a special of a half roasted cauliflower sitting in a puree of carrot and peppers, topped of a side of fennel salad. So so good!

absolutley amazing dining experiance for my partner and I on our anniversary. Host and all staff were very friendly, we got seated early for our reservation and staff made sure our anniversary dinner was private. This was our first time here, took the recomondation of "bolani" and i loved it, we also ordered pakawras, mantu dumplings and grilled spiced chicken. every thing cooked perfectly and so much flavor, they suprised us with an Afghan pudding for dessert which was perfect for even being full as we were, the dessert was light and not to sweet. we're already making plans to come back with friends and book a table in "traditonal dining" area also very well priced for the experiance!

Such an amazing dining experience. The lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection. The taste was super rich and quality of the meat and the rice was top notch! The chilled eggplant dip with that fluffy naan bread was a good idea to finish the lunch, purely enjoyed the experience. The rice quantity could have been better. I 100% recommend this place if you love lamb.

Amazing location with beautiful decoration and vibes. Great staff and holy bananas. The se menu options are so good! A real treat coming to eat here and they were especially kind To our birthday guest! Would definitely come back again. And oh my gosh everything is delicious!

I had a wonderful dinner date with my wife. This was the second time we’ve dined with Afghan Kitchen and it was wonderful and delicious. We arrived during happy hour and order a couple things off the Happy Hour Menu and a dish off the regular menu. I got one of their signature dishes, Afghan Chicken, and it was succulent. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Kabob meal and loved it. Hummus as an appetizer and then the grand finale….Mumm’s Secret dessert…Amazing! We will be back.
