We stopped in for lunch. Drove around tow. And ended up here. Glad we did! Good for, excellent service and great value. We both had burger and I had some of my wife’s. both excellent. The beer was good too. Solid value.

Good pub eats. There was a Vegan Mushroom special on the menu - coconut mushroom fettuccine Alfredo that was delicious.
Spinach and Artichoke dip was packed full of Artichoke and Spinach which we enjoyed. Cauliflower bites were served with some carrots and celery and crispy.

Nice place to go in Port Alberni that is open in the weekday evening. Had the cider flight it was very good. Prices are reasonable.

The food was delicious and well prepared. Lots of options to choose from. Service was a bit slow hence the four stars. We waited 15-20 min before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. Then another 10 before she took our order. It seemed that she was the only one working the outside part of the restaurant. We ordered Nachos for starters and our main meals. They brought the nachos with our main orders which isn't the point of ordering starters. But everything was delicious and I recommend giving them a try.

Just make the trek out to Port Alberni!! 😎 This may just be one of my favourite breweries on the island. The menu is fantastic, and lives up to the delicious descriptions! The portions are incredibly generous too, so bring your thirst AND your appetite 😋 Their dunkle is one of the best I've tasted outside of Germany - I can't wait to go back! 👏👏👏

Stopped in for a quick mid trip bite. Happened to be wing Wednesday so I ordered 6 honey mustard and six hot. As well as two Mexican lagers .

Lager: decent beer, light refreshing. Essentially what you expect from a lager.

Wings: the wings were cooked perfectly (to me, I like them a tad on the crispy borderline dry side). The hot sauce was basic hot sauce , nothing memorable about it but good enough. The honey mustard was a little confusing. It had decent texture but was lacking severely on the “mustard” part of the flavour. Not sure if either sauce was house made.

The service was decent, friendly and the pub itself looks newer and is decorated appropriately for what it is.

I would recommend this place for people stopping through Port Alberni.

I was really hopefully I would enjoy this brewery after passing by many times. Unfortunately, we had nothing but a negative experience. Our entire group received food poisoning after eating here. None of our food arrived at the same time, with half our group waiting 15+min to receive food after others did (there was only 4 of us). In the end, some food didn’t arrive until after our group finished eating and we had cancelled those items. They then awkwardly brought the meal out and convinced our international friends to pay for it and take it to go even though we said we didn’t want it. This was some of the worst service I have received in a long time. I highly advise taking your business somewhere else.
