I wanted to start snowkiting for a long time, but I was on the wrong track until I called Peter Martel, and it was a game changer.
Peter is a generous, passionate and patient teacher and an effective communicator. With him, my learning curve basically flattened, and my confidence rocketed. His professional snowkiting and kiteboarding background could hardly be matched.
I bought my snowkiting gear from Peter, and I couldn’t be any happier with his excellent advice and service.
If you are looking for lessons or gear, don’t take chances; I highly recommend Peter.

Trusted shop for anything related to wind, water and hydrofoiling.

Also happens to be across the street from one of the best hidden gems in North America.

Sylvan Lake is 10/10 in the winter and summer.

The owner of this shop is a core rider (I don't mean the brand but that too) and is a very positive influence on the Alberta wind and foil sports scene.

You might even run into one of the top water/wind athletes in the world in Sylvan if you are lucky.

Just don't take advantage of the free advice too much and book a lesson or buy something from the shop as they sell quality gear.

Don't all rush to Sylvan Lake. The locals don't want it to be too busy...

Save some wind for the rest of us Peter!

Be warned he can be difficult to work with sometimes.
