Had the steak dinner ride. Was a lot of fun, had great entertainment throughout the ride. Food was good in Big Valley. Local shops and museums were great too. Be careful though, their could be bandits waiting for the train!! 😬😬😁!

Wonderful way to spend our Saturday. So much to experience and enjoy, we will need to come back so we can see more of Big Valley! The staff were friendly and approachable. While there was some space to store our motorcycle helmets and vests on the train, we are grateful that the staff held on to our stuff in the office! Fantastic for all ages.

AMAZING!! So much fun. The train ride is about 80 minutes but the entertainment on board makes the time fly. The meal was really good. The return entertainment was just as enjoyable.
I HIGHLY recommend this tour!!

The entertainment was very funny and silly joking and some of peoples didn’t get it and the steak was good and if you have an cooler to drink please instead beer and wine and please recommend that some peoples. The waitresses done an excellent service and polite and I hope you guys have a good life ahead.

What a great day. A fun time travel to a slower but more adventurous time. Wonder is ignited and the imagination engaged. Friendly folks and a good meal to boot. Good for all ages!

We rode the Train today, what an experience!!! The train is well kept up and is a lovely ride. The robbery was well executed! The train comes complete with a bar car, souvenir car and well as you ride in comfort in your own car. You are transported to a lovely little town and treated to an amazing supper with over-the-top entertainment.
On the way back we had a creative entertainer who could sing well and was so funny.
Take this train ride ! The staff works hard to make you have an amazing time. I cannot say enough good things about it. What a great way to spend a few hours!!

My husband and I went on the Newfoundlander train and dinner. We loved the train ride. We enjoyed the commentator and the entertainment on the way back was excellent. He was really funny. Why the two Stars? The meal to me was not good at all. We paid 190 which is a lot more than the other excursions. The lobster was not only small but so over cooked and dry. The steak was not a good cut and was so thin and looked like maybe a fast fry steak. all of them were cooked well done. Not all
People like them overcooked. Could not even cut them. It’s a community hall so must be a dishwasher. You can not cut steak with plastic utensils. For the extra money compared to all other trips could serve a quality steak. I would maybe go on a train ride again but wouldn’t want a meal

It is an awesome way to spend a day learning about how the railway used to be the main mode of travel. There's lots of entertainment on the trip, and lots of things to see and do when you get there. It is very family oriented but great for adults as well. It is a little expensive, but well worth the cost. Price includes the trip on the train, entertainment, a delicious meal, which includes complimentary wine or beer, and games to play after the meal! Oh, and you get to experience a hold up on the trip, where your money is collected, and donated to charity!
Well organized and lots of fun! 100% recommended to go!
