Altmaerker has become our go-to deli even being a bit of a drive from our neighborhood. The staff are always pleasant and the various deli meats are top notch. Fresh made sandwiches are excellent as well, full of toppings and very tasty.

Our German Deli in White Rock closed due to development , specifically I get from the north Delta deli, Fliesalad, or commonly
Meat salad, along with lyoner, these are delicious with just mustard in a small (fresh) bun. Met Sandra, wonderful lady,
Oh!! And the smell/aroma of sausage & deli meats is incredible. Phone ahead as it doesn’t last long.

Was able to grab some Delicious European Weiner and German Potato Salad for our Traditional Christmas Dinner. Love the quality of their house-made sausages.

Highly recommend this family owned and run local deli. Shopping made easy as Sandra Till runs front of house with cheerful, friendly service. She knows her regulars by name and what they like. Stephen Till, award winning sausage maker, makes most products, with high quality no filler ingredients.
If you have food allergies/sensitivities shop here. Too many favourites to list all: brats(various varieties), thueringer, homemade deli meats, french pork, garlic sausage, pepperoni, liverwurst are a few. Homemade sauerkraut with bits of sausage is yummy.
Many items brought in: Grimms, breads and many canned/jar items from Germany. They bring in limited supply for Christmas such as Glühwein, german gingerbread cookies, etc. Buy early as goes fast.
Located in a small strip mall with lots of parking.

Update (Dec 2021)- For an easy, relaxed Xmas Day lunch we pre-ordered a sandwich/bun and charcuterie tray.
As usual, owner Sandra did not disappoint.
Everything was awesome and we’ll be enjoying it for a few days.
Also pre-ordered rouladen cut (raw) beef to make a special dinner.

I've visited this store a couple of times and explored a variety of sausages and other items. The location is convenient, and the environment is inviting. The staff are incredibly welcoming and eager to assist, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

The store offers an impressive selection of meats and pantry goods—there’s enough variety to warrant multiple visits just to sample everything.

However, I found that the taste of their products didn’t align with my personal preferences. While this is likely a matter of my own taste, it was admittedly disappointing not to enjoy most of the items I purchased. That said, this shouldn't overshadow the many positives the store has to offer, as others with different tastes may have a completely different experience.

Love going there, most friendly and helpful people. Thee meats and deli’ sausages are just like in Germany. Enjoy going there and prices are very reasonable.
