First time staying here. I called to see if room was available. It was held for me till i arrived in town 3 hours later. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. I rented the kitchenette room. I have zero complaints. Room is tidy,Heat works, wifi is good, cable TV, basic utensils for cooking, plug ins for pickup truck. Great value for the price. I havnt stayed in edson for work since 2008 and I will be returning here to stay.

I recently stayed at Aries Motel, and my experience was nothing short of awful. Upon arriving, I noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. The room was dirty, with stained carpets, dusty surfaces, and grimy bathrooms that made me question whether any cleaning had been done at all.

Adding to the frustration, the man running the motel demonstrated poor customer service. When I mentioned that the price on Expedia was cheaper, he immediately raised the price online, which felt incredibly dishonest. To make matters worse, he called me three hours before my scheduled check-in time, asking for my credit card information over the phone to hold the room because he claimed he was receiving many calls. I told him i was uncomfortable about sharing my credit card information over a random number on the phone and his response was "try and check in tonight and we will see if a room is available"
This felt very unprofessional and left me feeling uneasy about the security of my personal information.

The overall condition of the motel was terrible... poorly lit rooms, worn-out furniture, and noise throughout the night that made it impossible to rest. The lack of cleanliness and professionalism, combined with the deceptive pricing practices, make Aries Motel a place I would strongly advise others to avoid. There are certainly better options available, and I’ll be choosing one of those in the future.

Attempted to book a room through expedia, the empty parking lot was an immediate red flag, I was just looking for a place with ground floor door access as I have trouble walking, and this place was cheap online, when I arrived the man explained to me in broken English that I needed to cancel my booking on expedia and pay his inflated rate of almost double what I had booked it for. $55 on expedia, $95 if I cancel and pay him through his square terminal. Due to taxes he claimed, still not being able to understand what he was saying I walked out and called expedia, after an hour they apparently talked to management and had them agree to honor the price that I had booked it for, at first promising me to get me an equivalent room at a different hotel, after driving back, and giving this man my ID, my address, and my credit card, he then claimed I now needed to pay an additional 300 dollar damage deposit, that would be refunded when I checked out, and that he also wanted me to cancel my booking on expedia, and I could pay him directly, I told him for a 300 dollar deposit, i'd better see the room first, apalling to say the least, cigarette burns in the bedding, a chair with shredded upholstry, a shower that has been shoddily repaired with a screw and a rubber oring, wish i had taken some pictures, it was the definition of terrible, probably things he uses to claim peoples damage deposits, saying they broke them, he then told me a story about someone breaking a tv a year ago, and thats why the charge is necessary, needless to say I won't ever come back here again, and I just wish I had left sooner. This place should be reported to the police. Just wish I had read other reviews before booking.
Wasted 2 hours of my time talking to expedia agents so I could get a refund. 0/10.

Spotlessly clean, lots of hot water, stable wifi, a comfy bed, parking is in front of your room and the owner is friendly! Great value for the price you pay.

Terrible motel. Cigarette burn holes in the blankets, a centipede crawling around in the bathroom, they demanded a damage deposit, room smells disgusting. Toilet is loose scared to even use it, may be cheap but not worth it, will never stay in the disgusting place again, stay far away

Here is 15,000 words. Hands down one of the best deals in town. If you have ever wanted to feel like your in your own C*ack den, then look no further.

Do you like smoking? Well get ready cause all these rooms smell like your Favorite cheap Cigarette or Quite possible C*ack idk.

I would stay here again. Pro tip, be sure to wrap your bed in plastic prior to use. And keep your shoes on.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I have stayed at this place multiple times for work. I understand you get what you pay for but rooms 104 and 107 should should not be booked under any circumstances.

I stayed in room 104 first, the room was dirty, blankets had holes in them and the heat didn't work. I complained and said I could be transferred rooms the following day. They then put me in room 107 which I'm pretty sure hadn't seen a guest in well over 6 months. The room was extremely dirty and I should have left however it was late and I already paid. The room was very dirty, bed was torn, bathroom door was taped together, walls were stained. Please see the pictures. I woke up in the morning with bite marks which lead me to believe that the motel has bed bugs.

Be careful. These guys are snakes.
My work schedule changed very last minute, I tried to cancel. They tried to charge me for the night still. This was not my call. I got jerked around by my company. And you are just too greedy to understand that.

I don't know if they have my credit card on file or not but i will be keeping a close eye on my credit card statements and i will never book through your clearly unaccommodating hotel again.
