Audley Recreation Centre is a local hub for physical activity and other community gatherings in this northeast part of Ajax and neighbouring Whitby. This facility is well-maintained and clean. There is a library beside the physical activity area and function halls inside the same building.

I thoroughly love this facility. Well thought out, clean and well managed.

The lifeguards have tasted authority for the first times in their 20 years of existence & sure do show it. The not so friendly & long faces use to take away from our experience but we’ve learnt to tune it out.

Just a few friendly reminders.
Be thankful you are employed. You’re not fighting crime. Nobody cares for their child’s well being more than a parent. Be cognizant of the fact that dealing with the public and you’re dealing with children.

I have seen the negative demeanour and horrible disposition take away from the experience and fun family atmosphere.

Smiling is contagious & never hurt anybody.

In the universal washroom there’s a huge open tile in the ceiling- dry concerning as this is a washroom for families, children, changing babies etc. please fix this! At the park the large kids zipline was broken , both not functioning and it is quite a highlight at this park. Otherwise nice park and clean facility

Everyday I walking through the Audley road. One day I entered into ARC (Audley recreation center). I have seen the building very nice looking. I walked around the ARC there’s a synthetic tennis court, Basketball court , walking trail n children playing arena. So beautiful planning for kids and adults. Even skating area too. Not only Outdoor activity . Indoor swimming pool, Basketball Court and extraordinary library included in this centre. Hall also available for parties. Restaurant n dining facilities. I enjoyed my walking time in Ajax ARC. Very good and nice atmosphere for social activities and gatherings.

AWESOME FOR BOOKS, SWIMMING, AND EVERYTHING ELSE. Printing is cheap, books are always in good condition and no weirdos at the pool. Always safe as well with lifeguards

I like the library, there are a lot of spots to sit in if you come earlier in the morning, and many are close to charging outlets. There is a lot of parking space, bathrooms are clean and smells pleasant enough. Some kids do come to the library, so there is a certain level of noise, but not constant and not unbearable.

I was at the library and covid clinic. Library is all on one level -very ability focused. Outside there is a toboggan hill, a walking trail, tennis and basketball Courts, baseball diamonds and if you climb the hill quite a nice view. There is a huge play area that includes zip-lines and a great water pad. There is a daycare and an indoor pool of which I didn't take pictures of either. Library bathrooms are clean but a word of warning ..Lock your door! That way some old Google places reviewer won't walk in scarring the living heck out of both of us. Conversely if you are about to enter make sure you knock! I suppose I could take half the blame for this ptspds...post toilet sitting person distress situation. Regardless, I prefer to rate businesses..just not your "business". And if it was you...sorry...from now on I'm knocking. Loudly.
