One of the staples of the valley. I always look forward to coming here whenever we are in the area. The markets here are so much better than we get in Halifax. Valley residents are so blessed when it comes to food. Fresh vegetables, local meat, the best locally made baked goods, (especially my favourite molasses brown bread), and ice cream for my husband and fudge for my mom. What more do you need?

I was living in Bible Hill when I was first introduced to Avery's. I shopped there A LOT! Produce prices were reasonable, but the best part of shopping there was the staff. It was the friendliest place I'd ever shopped in. I think it's fair to say that I was in the store almost every day. The same atmosphere exists in the Greenwood outlet. The folks there are simply great!! They know me by name, and ALWAYS greet me when I come in the store, even if the store is busy. This is one of my favourite stores to come in.

Great little store. All kinds of fertilizer if you know what you need. Reasonable prices on soil and manure. 6pk annuals very good selection and of course pick up some bottled cider to take home! Can't complain!

Always the best local veggies while they are in season. Also, they have some great local honey and jams. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean. Not only that, should you need a picture or ornament for your home...they have that too. 💗

Excellent prices on produce and quality product, I actually get my money’s worth and it -lasts- which is a huge relief and step up from local chain stores. Staff is always excellent, very friendly and kind to my spawn when we go in and they always seem genuinely happy for our business. Can’t recommend this place enough.
