2 bedroom apartment with washer and dryer. The master bedroom had its own 2 piece ensuite. The 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds which we had, it with the best bedding. Lots of stairs but that was ok. The open concept upper loft (living, dining, kitchen) was very spacious for us 4 adults and had exquisite furniture. We stayed 2 nights and would book again

The units are very nice and the location is great. However, beware of booking through VRBO they are very disengenuous ...... we say a studio unit in B2 Lofts offered at a special discount of $152 per night or a total of $962 CAD for 6 nights. We ended up being billed for $1325 CAD when all the added charges were totaled .... and the posted price that we had seen ws moved to $175 per night. VRBO are scam artists. It is too bad as it detracted from an otherwise lovely facility offered at B2 lofts.

We booked an extended stay here based on the internet photos and reviews. For us, it was a mistake. There were many flights of stairs involved to get to our unit. After the difficult climb to get to our floor, we opened the door to find ANOTHER long flight of steps. We are elderly. Carrying our stuff (which was minimal) up those steps was difficult. Once in the unit, there was no room for our clothes except one hat rack. If there was a closet or dresser, we missed them. The bathroom was tiny and the open shower flooded it. The bed linens were dingy. Based on the steps, lack of space for clothes and bad shower, we asked for a refund. The owner/host refused. I guess it was more important to have our money than to have satisfied customers. Because of location (although no view), I gave it two stars instead of one.

We prepaid for a long booking here based on photos and other reviews. That was a mistake for us. There are many steps to get to the room. We are elderly and those steps were beyond challenging. Once in the room, there was no place for our clothes except a hat rack. If there was a closet or dresser, we missed it. The bathroom is tiny and the open shower floods it. The bed linens were dingy. The towels were hard and well used. Given the steps, lack of space for clothes and bad shower, we asked for a refund. We were refused. I guess it was more important to have our money than to have a satisfied customer. We left.

We stayed in the Tancook unit. The self check-in is straight forward and convenient. For elderly be aware there are lots of stairs including to get into the unit. Unit itself is pretty clean. Washroom in this unit is poorly designed, form over function. Shower is a rain shower only, no hand shower available and the water splashes everywhere.. the bathroom sink is the smallest sink ever known to mankind and also the water splashes everywhere. Also the toilet paper holder is placed in an awkward spot. We had to use the kitchen sink for brushing our teeth and getting ready as the bathroom sink is not adequate.

Kitchen is well stocked and has stove, fridge and dishwasher but we ate out so didn't use the amenities.

Location is super convenient as mentioned by others.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. There was lots of parking and the keyless check in was very convenient for me going in and out with an infant. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit itself was beautiful! Very clean, spacious and comfortable with lovely views and everything to feel at home. The location was perfect to experience Lunenburg. We enjoyed morning walks along the waterfront and were so close to the many cute shops and restaurants! Thank you for the wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Wow! I was blown away by the B2 Lofts in Lunenburg. There’s a total of 6 different apartments all designed by the world-famous architect Brian MacKay-Lyons. My friends and I stayed in the Ironbound apartment and included everything we needed. The apartment had a charming ambience with real wood floors, intricate wooden cabinetry design, modern European appliances, sheep's wool blankets, and many other fine details. Every time I travel, there are three things I look for when booking an accommodation: location, comfort, and service. Ironbound easily checks all three boxes. It is on the main street of a UNESCO World Heritage Site - just steps away from great restaurants, bars, and the Atlantic Ocean! The king-size bed was super comfortable and the apartment has many amenities including a full kitchen, dining room table, leather couch, washer, and dryer. Finally, it was easy to check-in with the electronic door code entry and the host, Marilyn, was prompt and pleasant in answering our questions. If you're visiting Lunenburg sometime soon, this is definitely the place to stay!

Renters beware: I made an error in my planning and requested to cancel within the 24 hour period. I found these people though Airbnb. I had no idea how awful hosts could be. They had a no refund on just those dates. When I realized I messaged them though that platform as they hide in there when they feel they can be sketchy. The owner said it was ok and go ahead and cancel. So I did. But they didn’t mean that I would get my money back.
This is where they completely stop communicating and Airbnb said they have to just say yes to them and I could get my money back. Despite my pleas for compassion, the host stayed rigid on her choice to not allow the cancelation refund...leaving me with a loss of $900.,I was definitely taken aback by the lack of understanding and compassion, also with how they hide behind their words knowing I didn’t know they could do that. I begged them if we could have the booking back as they where keeping the money and we would have no where to stay.especiallyconsidering the request was less less 24 hours after I booked. This was a big hit to me and my family to lose so much money. Please read the fine print and perhaps consider renting elsewhere.
Our family trip was destroyed.
