I must say this is the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Went there today for cold plate supper and it was excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful.. 5 star rating from me. I am so looking forward to Fish n chips on Good Friday. Great food, great service.

My girlfriend told me this place had the best fish and chips in Newfoundland, which is a lofty claim indeed. I have to say, I think she may be right.

I got The Mess and she got a two piece, which she gave me one of. It was phenomenal. Fresh, not overcooked and you could go right through it with the fork with no effort. Combined with their in-house tartar sauce, it was to die for. The Mess is excellent, but don't plan on doing much after if you get it.

The service was very friendly and while the decor won't win any awards, who cares? It still feels homey and welcoming. Bonus points for playing the rock station!

Loved this place and I can't wait to go back next time I'm here.

The food was very good. It was just like a homemade meal at home. It was a Friday went we went and because of that it took over an hour to get our supper. But it was worth waiting for.

Badger Diner was on my Atlantic Canada Fish n Chip tour after watching Nerdy Newfie Food Reviews. The sound of the crunch on the video was too hard to resist.
Stopping here was easy and not too far off the highway on the the way back to Port aux Basques for the boat. I'm happy we did.
The staff was nice and gave me all the take out items I would need to enjoy our fish and chips in the car.

Look forward to a return visit when passing through Grand Falls-Windsor.

Stopped for lunch on our way to Terra Nova national park. We had the Hot Turkey sandwich and Fish and Chips. Both were delicious on a cold day!

This place did not disappoint. The service was speedy and friendly...and the food was everything you want in diner food. They were so fast the cook even brought out our meals. Unreal. I had the clubhouse and fries(with 2 slices of bread) and my partner had the fishburger and fries. And we shared onion rings. The clubhouse so good...lots of meat and sauce ratio. And my partner said proboly some of the best fries she ever ate. Along with the sandwiches blowing it all out the water.

Amazing and will be planning the next travel food time around this place for sure!!

Went for dinner the other day and ended up waiting 1hr for the food to be brought out to the table.

We ordered cod tongues and a club sandwich.

The club was cold by the time it arrived cold toast and bacon.

Ordered at 4:55, 5:30 asked what was taking so long. Was told it would be next meal. It was and it came out at 5:55.
I was just about to leave but it came out.

They also got my order wrong, asked for no cheese but instead of sending it back i took the cheese off.

This is the second time in a row with a long wait time. Last time I thought it was a one off but no .

The place wasn't that busy either.

i have not eat at badger diner now for 6 months due to getting bloody chicken in a 3 pc take out. today we decided to try this place again, what a mistake i ordered pork chop dinner. after a long wait it finally arrived, and the young man that served us almost threw the plates across the table . when i looked, i had butt chops, not the regular pork chops.. there is a difference. i ate it , even though they were 2 inches thick and tough as the tires on my vehicle. spoke to server when i went to pay my bill ( crazy expensive )about it. she snapped at me like crazy, i was just voicing my complaint .she needs to be replaced and they need to take their advertisement of the radio not tender, juicy pork chops, more like garbage.
