Amazing Chef’s Tasting Menu Dining Experience @bar_corso on Commercial Drive in Vancouver. Perfect in every way from the great food, service, ambiance and vibe. Loved the creativity in the kitchen with some exciting flavours for the palate. Dishes were perfectly spaced out. The super genuinely friendly unpretentious service really stood out for us. You can tell that the people there really love what they do. Highly recommend and will definitely be back 👏

The pasta wasn’t good. We waited 30 min for it but looked like the noodles weren’t well cooked.

I had a delicious culinary experience and my server Finn and others were so pleasant it inspired me to leave a review for a local small business. I had the $75 tasting menu and it was excellent. I was informed the tasting menu changes periodically. Portions are tapas style so keep that in mind. You’ll have room for tasty cocktails. Ambiance 5/5.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. We had a romantic booth right in the middle so we could watch everything happen. The food was exceptional, the service was just the right amount and the vibe was excellent. Thoroughly impressed from start to finish and looking forward to going back soon.

My partner and I went there for Valentine’s Day a few years ago and absolutely loved the cheese plate and few bites we had. This past weekend we had the chef tasting menu with some friends and I was INCREDIBLE! My partner really enjoyed the goat cheese pasta.. as someone who hates goat cheese.. there was a bit of a miscommunication between us and friends and one friend in regards to the pricing of the set menu but they were still able to accommodate him choosing not to participate and still made him included in certain things. I was also given a verbal rundown of my favourite thing I ate last time which I’m so happy about. I can’t wait to go back and try it again for our anniversary! Easily my favourite restaurant in Vancouver. The tasting menu is a great price for the amount of food you get and it pushes you to try new things that you otherwise wouldn’t order. The service was great but my only complaint is that the music was a tad loud but that felt like it might have been an accident as it went down in volume shortly after it suddenly went up.

Incredible Anniversary dinner! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, and highly recommend.
Only was able to remember to take a couple of photos as the menu was so delicious that we didn’t wait for a photo.
Favourites were the wagu tartar, halibut cheeks, and pasta. Well done Corso! In particular, thanks to Finn for great service and walking us through the flavours.

Bar Corso, you have us in a chokehold. The drinks? Flawless. Balanced, beautiful, and honestly a little too easy to say yes to (we were this close to ordering one of everything).

We kicked things off with the olive tapenade, salty, briny, perfect. Then came the prosciutto, which basically melted on contact. The cacio e pepe? A creamy, peppery dream that made us forget every other pasta we’ve ever loved. And the tiramisu? Magic. We would happily eat it for breakfast if that were socially acceptable.

From start to finish, it was one of those meals where we just kept looking at each other like, “Wait… is this the best night ever?” Spoiler: it was.

Can’t wait to be back. Probably too soon.
