A wonderful place to spend a few hours with the family. We visited with a few other families, and everyone had a fantastic time. The steam train was a highlight—we ended up riding it twice because the kids loved it so much! The playground is a great addition, and the place offers plenty of local history and interesting exhibits. With a concession stand, gift shop, and much more, I was truly impressed by the sheer size of the grounds.

They also have a fascinating collection of antique machines and vehicles, which is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of the valley or just looking for a relaxing afternoon. Highly recommended!"

This is the second time that I visit the centre. I love moving trains. We have lot of fun and good memories when we ride on a train.
This is a good place bring the kids or the ones young at heart there.
The staff are friendly and the place is tidy and well keep.
If you want to spend more time to walk around and let the kids running around, bring some water and some snacks. The place is big. There are also a restaurant by the train station in case you didn't bring anythings.
The ticket price is reasonable since it's including one train ride. The ride will take you to a new area with some more interesting display and a mini train museum.
Please make sure you visit the main building before you leave or while you are waiting for the next train.
We learn a lot of new knowledge about our forest industry. It's an interesting place for kids too.

We had visited during the Halloween express! It was awesome. My 3 yr old daughter loved it. We visited around 5pm when daylight was there so that my daughter didnt get too much spooked. They had trick and treat, colouring area and a cafe serving hot chocolate which was amazing. Definitely a must visit. I am waiting for the Christmass express tickets to come out. ?

It was an interesting place to learn about forestry, including various types of trees, the logging process, and the products made from wood. I also appreciated the insights on bats. Riding the train was enjoyable, though the noise made it difficult to hear the explanations. Overall, it's a great spot to visit with kids or anyone interested in forestry and railroads.

My three year old son has taken a liking to trains so visiting the BC Forest Discovery Center has been a consistent attraction for our family to visit. There are many exhibits to visit on the grounds and lots of things for young ones to do. The staff is always super friendly and we always have a great time riding the train with the conductor, Mark. He has a wonderful, warm smile and is always a pleasure to talk with. Also, Willy the caretaker is such a friendly staff member who goes above and beyond to make sure my three year old is having a great time!

Honestly I wasn't super excited to go ? I was very wrong. The center is extensive and has so many interesting exhibits. So much fun for kids and adults a like. We learned so much about the history and growth of our Province. We spent almost 4 hours there and it still didn't feel like enough time. Will definitely be back.

We had the best time at this year’s Halloween train! Loved dancing to the live music, walking through the haunted house, watching the singing pumpkins, and cemetery dancers. So nice to have a wholesome family activity that’s so toddler friendly! Please keep it up! We’d love to come back next year
