We spent 10 days at Becky's while visiting our daughter in Glace Bay. The suite in which we stayed was tastefully appointed with a full range of features available (laundry, satellite TV, internet & guest's computer, air conditioning including dehumidifier). Everything was in good working order and modern. Becky is a joy ~ friendly with a very pleasant personality and very knowledgeable about the local sights and culture. Her breakfasts were superb with a rich abundance of fruit, eggs, diverse meats, a variety of breads, muffins, bagels and so on, pancakes, yogurt etc.

Becky has a beautiful home and provides a separate entrance for guests. Breakfast was terrific with home-baked goods and Becky even sent some along with me for my travels. The room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Minutes by car from Glace Bay and the Miner's Museum. A very pleasurable stay.

Becky runs a spotlessly clean B&B with high standards. She is friendliness personified and is full of stories and useful information. Prices are more than fair and the breakfast is lavish! The table setting reminded me of the finesse of Victorian times and her cooking is great. Just everything is of the highest standards and cleanliness. For example towels are plentiful, fluffy and in tip top condition. Becky is flexible and can do breakfast pretty much anytime you need it. Early for workers and travelers and later for lazy tikes! If you need a place to stay this is far superior to a hotel or motel. I couldn't recommend this location more and believe me having worked in 50 countries I've seen plenty of places to stay!

We had a room with a queen and a single bed. Staying here is like being in an apartment as you have a full living room and kitchen to use. It is located on a quiet street and is only minutes from Glace Bay or Sydney and only 40 minutes to Louisbourg. Becky and Lou were wonderfull hosts and we had a great breakfast with them. It was just like being at home.

Wonderful place.Becky was a pleasure.A full breakfast each morning, more than you could eat! All the comforts of home. Stayed 5 nights. Would recommend this B&B to everyone! Close to air port and minutes away from the beach,and other attractions.
