Great service, cold beer, but average food with limited value. My wife had the chicken wings, which she enjoyed while I got the Philly Beef. The Philly came in a nice bun bit it was burger style rather than a sub style. I was disappointed as it was hard to eat. The flavour was ok, kind of gravy flavour. I don't recommend. We will try again and will update when we do.

Yesterday we had both a truly wonderful and unfortunately disappointing experience at this restaurant.

We arrived as a group of 13 and were seated on the patio. Our server, Chelsea, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized — she got every single order right, which is no small feat with such a large group! Her energy made the start of our evening feel warm and welcoming, and the food was also genuinely delicious. We were all impressed.

When the patio closed at 9 p.m., two more friends arrived, and since some of our group had already left, we decided to move inside where there was enough space at a table. That’s when the tone of the evening changed. At first, we were told they’d try to find someone to serve us, but after a while, we were just… ignored.

Eventually, when the two new guests approached the staff to ask if they could place their orders (they were the only ones planning to order at that point), they were told by Jen, who we later found out was the manager on duty, that they would not serve us at all. The exact words were: “We won’t serve you. If you’re hungry, you can go next door or to any other restaurant.”

It felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive — especially after we’d just had such a great time and spent a significant amount as a large group. The contrast between Chelsea’s outstanding service and the experience inside was stark and frankly left us all feeling unwelcome.

This review is written not to complain, but to highlight both the excellent work of staff like Chelsea, who deserves to be recognized, and to raise awareness of how much one person’s approach — especially in a management position — can change the entire impression of a place.

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is some of the best in HRM, the food is great, and prices aren't ridiculous. If you plan on going on wing night, make sure you have a reservation since it gets quite busy!!

Bar food that is good. Their draft is well priced and the servers are great. We go twice a month in a group and our server just brings our ligation of choice without us having to tell her.

Chicken quesadillas were pretty thickly filled, was tasty, food came out pretty fast. Our server disappeared and didn’t tell us she was switching out or anything, the only complaint.

Stopped by for wing night.

Server asked if he could get us a drink, we picked up the menu to take a quick look and he proceeded to walk away without saying anything. Came back 5-10 minutes later and asked again… Once our order was taken we did not see him again until the bill was brought over. Did not check in once during the meal. Overall poor service.

Food was average, wings were fine. Side order of fries for $6 is fair.
