Attended an event here, this place would be 5 stars if the walls were painted a neutral color and if the chairs were replaced or if their current chairs were at least painted black or white. The blue walls and orange chairs make the place very outdated and is the only thing that would make planning an event here slightly more difficult as it clashes with most decor/aesthetic you’d want for a modern birthday party, baby shower, etc.. price is extremely good. Good kitchen. Lots of space for something like a bday or baby shower. Wheelchair accessible

We had rented this hall in May 2023 for Dec 9/23 Christmas Family Reunion for approximately 80 people. On the afternoon of Thurs Dec 7 I received a phone call from the Treasurer to inform me that he had to cancel my event as the furnace was broke down. This left me scrambling to say the least. I was able to rent another facility for an extra $100 for our event and called him back to let him know we found something else. On Sat we went to put a notice on the door of the hall to advise our events new location only to find the hall being set up for another event. When I called the treasurer to ask why, it appears the furnace was fixed without him knowing. It certainly appears the hall was double booked and used the furnace as an excuse. Don’t count on your rental until you are actually in the door. Would I rent this facility again? Never.

In response to the President's reply I did have the ward councilor inquire with the City of Brantford and the furnace was repaired at noon on Thursday and an email was sent to Kinsmen at 2 pm advising them of the repair.
I was called and told my event was cancelled at 3 pm.
The Kinsmen should own up and pay me the difference in hall rentals of $106.60

My daughter did her Red Cross Babysitting course here. The location is hidden amongst 100 year old houses and beautiful fields. The facilities were clean, warm and there is ample parking for the size of the building.

Nice clean facility that holds different family functions throughout the year. Has a parking lot and a small kid's play equipment with slide and swings.

I went here for religious purpose and felt very good. Would like to go every Thursday if get a chance.
