Bench D’or is now one of our favourite and most memorable places we have stayed anywhere in the world! Robert was a very entertaining and knowledgeable host. Liz was also wonderful! Our room was absolutely perfect and felt like a home away from home. We loved breakfast (also delicious) out on the veranda. The salt water pool was wonderful to lounge by in the afternoon after touring wineries and relax before dinner.
Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return!

A wonderful relaxing stay in the beautiful home Bench D'Or, Naramata! The log home is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake, walking distance to a few wineries, restaurants, Naramata village and the Kettle Valley Trail. The suite was large with a kitchenette, BBQ and a comfortable furnishings. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, the pool and private terrace for enjoying a glass of wine etc. The owners and their team are perfect hosts. We highly recommend!

We had two good days her at Bench d`Or in late September. The house is incredible - its HUGE - a lot of timber - and as far as I remember three rooms for guests - the rooms are downstairs - with direct access to the garden, the hottub and the pool ( which at this time of the year is freezing cold) I had hoped for a heatet pool, so we just had a short dip - and then used the hottub, which were nice.|The room is fine, the bed could be bigger but for a few nights OK. Bathroom very nice.|There is a kitchen area as well and a coffee maker. Everything OK|Breakfast is where you chose in or out and Robert make good coffee - that said that on the second day - there was no drip coffee because "---end of season..." I mean we are the customers and have paided long time in advance and you can't have a dripcoffee.|Breakfast was OK - with eggs, yoghurt a lot of fresh fruit - nice touch - serials , juice...|We rented e-bikes 100CAD for two bikes - that's way too much, not that it should be complimentary, but too pricey.|We got good local tips for eating, for visiting vineyards, the KVR trail and for tips along the next stage of our roadtrip.|A little more customer service would be great - a glass of wine by arrival, a cop of coffee , a heatet pool -

We recently stayed for the second time at Bench d'Or, it has become our favourite place to stay in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and it is a bonus to have a kitchenette with access to a BBQ. The grounds are beautiful with several spots to sit and enjoy the view. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. The owner, and hosts, are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.

The property was stunning and perfectly landscaped. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. All of these accolades should lead to a 5-star review but the owners of this B&B are really the demise of the place. We were unaware that it was required to communicate whether or not we would be partaking in the continental breakfast. Upon returning to our suite one morning, we were berated by the owner for not letting them know. It was an oversight on our part and a seemingly small foul but we were scolded endlessly. The rest of our interactions with our hosts we were either ignored or were kept short and cold. I can’t help but feel that these people should not be in hospitality. We felt like teenagers in trouble with mom and dad for the duration of our stay. It’s a shame because the property really is special.

A wonderful stay at Bench D’or! A beautiful home and location in Naramata for a relaxing break and close to the trails and walking distance to some lovely wineries. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, the pool and made use of the kitchenette and bbq.|Perfect!

We just got back from 3 nights at Bench D'Or and this is hands-down the best B&B experience we've ever had! We lucked out with the Pernand suite which is a 2bed 2bath and a large private patio overlooking a beautiful garden. It was clean, quiet, super comfortable bed, and had more than everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Liz and Robert were wonderful hosts who graciously showed us around the property, and prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. This B&B is private when you need it to be, or social when you want it to be. The saltwater pool was such a bonus for the hot days, and the property is walking distance to some amazing wineries. We could have *easily* stayed another week (or 2, or 3...). If you're currently mulling over whether or not to book a stay at Bench D'Or let me save you some time - just book it!

Beautiful property with everything you need! An amazing view and walking distance from many wineries. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!
