Big shout out to James Miller from bird construction. Today between red deer and Edmonton, my tire went flat. For about an hour my daughter and I were stuck on the side of the road and nobody stopped to help. James not only helped me change my tire but he gave us some water and snacks. He was super, friendly and polite the entire time. I am home safe now so a huge thank you to James and Bird thank you so so much!

Bird construction is renovating our town houses in Sherwood park, don’t get me wrong they are doing a quality looking job.

BUT at any given time I can go outside and pick up hand fulls of metal trimmings, nails, staples anywhere over the 50+ town house project. Nails & etc scattered in my back yard, right beside a park my son plays at…. As well as multiple nails sticking out of boards right beside the playground.
I’ve brought this to a supervisors attention more than once and I’ve been told they will do more sweeps for metal with a magnet and I still haven’t noticed an improvement on their house keeping.
On top of all of all of this I’m constantly witnessing very poor use of PPE by there employees. Cutting metal, wood & concrete with no saftey glasses, masks, face shields & hearing protection.

If I was looking for a company to do a job for me I would not recommend Bird for these reasons.
