Wir haben 3 Nächte im Beach-House verbracht; ein Traum!! Das House liegt in einer Nebenbucht des Pazifik mit einer großen Sonnenterrasse. Die Ausstattung der Hütte ist komfortabel mit allem, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. In jeder Ecke steht ein Kleinod aus der Vergangenheit und vermittelt einen gewissen Charme. Unsere Gastgeber empfingen uns sehr freundlich und wiesen uns kurz ein. Unsere Koffer wurden durch unseren Gastgeber an die Hütte gebracht und er zündete uns aufgrund des regnerischen Wetters den Kamin an; Gemütlichkeit pur. In der Hütte befindet sich auch ein Fernrohr, mit dem man die Bucht sehr gut beobachten kann. Zum Frühstück beehrte uns ein Schwarzbär, der ca. 100 Meter entfernt seiner Wege zog. Die Hütte ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für viele Trails, die sich in unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden. So stellt man sich einen erholsamen und auch erlebnisreichen Urlaub vor. Sollten wir ein Revival nach Kanada/Vancouver Island planen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder in die Hütte kommen.

Fantastic place, terrific view from the porch, very comfortable house. Very friendly owners who live in nearby house, they took us on a short boat ride. Highly recommended! Lots of things to do in and around town such as hiking beautiful trails and surfing.

We got married in Ucluelet ten years ago and stayed here. We felt like family, and staying in the beautiful cabin felt like home. At that time it was chilly and rainy and the wood stove heated us up beautifully.

Ten years later we are back again for our anniversary. We were hoping it didn’t change and we were exactly right. Very sentimental to be back here. Along with the wonderful sentimental value, everything you need is here to cook and make your stay comfortable. The beds are so comfy I sleep longer than I ever have. We also fall asleep earlier from the ocean air. The deck is perfect for watching wildlife and the stars at night. There are so many treasures and board games in the cabin you’re entertained for hours.

I hope it never changes. We can’t wait to come back again.

We stayed in the cozy cabin. Beautiful view and tranquil setting. So private and feels like the rest of the world is far away. Great set-up with kids as we were able to put them to bed in the back room. Short walk over to the lighthouse trail. The Birds were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Beach in front of the house is great for mucking around in tide pools and catching crabs, and bird-watching.

We spent 4 nights in the larger cabin and loved it. Comfy beds. Wonderful deck to watch the tides in the lagoon. Saw a wolf whilst having coffe one morning. Bald eagles always around. Friendly owners. Good walks on Pacific Rim Trail nearby. Co-op supermarket 5 minutes drive away. So peaceful .

Stayed 2 nights in the beach house cabin. Wow, what a beautiful cabin and incredible location. Cabin is very charming, set right on the waters edge, 5 minute drive from "town."Sit and have coffee and watch for wildlife. We saw plenty of birds, river otters and deer. Comfortably slept 4 of us. Julie was very friendly as a host.Stay here when you visit uclulet.

My husband and I went to Uclulete to get married. It was a small ceremony with us, the minister and 2 witnesses. Julie and Steve were very gracious and accommodating. We had everything we needed and were married on that beautiful deck over the water. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from it all and have wonderful and peaceful retreat. Thank you Julie for being a witness and thank you Steve for the boat ride and the Halibut. We will be back there for sure. Thank you again. It was a lovely and memorable holiday and wedding.

Great view of the bay from the cabin and really friendly owners. Includes everything you could need (including binoculars). We saw a seal, herons and many bald eagles from the window! Cabin can be a bit cold (we visited in May) but there is heating that warms it up pretty well. Overall would highly recommend!
