First time visiting this restaurant and location. I enjoyed the ahi and how easy it was to make a reservation through open table but for $25 I expected a much bigger portion. Our 10 year olds loved the Donair nachos but not so much the pizza. If you have food allergies like I do you are going to the wrong place and your options will be very limited, especially if you can't eat cheese. LF cheese is so easy to get now but I couldn't have the pizza because they don't offer LF cheese which I find ridiculous. Speaking of ridiculous, I am from Dartmouth and I 100% know for sure that the Donair meat is gluten free but B&G's is not which is super disappointing and I seriously can't believe there's wheat fillers in it. Our server was terrible, almost like it was his first day and couldn't answer any menu questions without checking with the kitchen. Our water wasn't even refilled and I expected him to be able to give me recommendations of dishes that I could have but that never happened even after asking. Some of the feature dishes are technically GF but are not included on the GF menu. It's very difficult for people like me to go to eat and I shouldn't be thinking about what I'm going to make when I get home while trying to enjoy my small portion meal. Bottom line, definitely won't be going back, way too expensive and very low menu options for people like me.

Anytime we come to Edmonton we make sure we hit up a Blower's.. no matter the location, food is always on point as well as the vibe. Good crews at all the locations but we give the Sherwood location a big 5 stars 👍🏼 love the fish tacos, gluten free garlic fingers and radlers on tap.

First time here … what a unique concept! Great food and awesome service from the manager and the whole team. We were in a bit of a rush and they accommodated us perfectly … everyone with genuine smiles & intent to help
… we ordered a lovely falafel bowl (a bit off the beaten track but very tasty) and a classic east coast donair … here in the heart of Alberta. Thanks again and also for the complimentary no-jito which really hit the spot!

Update: contacted by management to rectify the situation. Here's hoping for a better experience next order. Will add a new review once I have ordered.

I'm pretty disappointed in the amount of fries that we received with my mini lobster rolls and the side we ordered. When calling we asked about the size of the side fries and we where prepared to order more than one and I was told it was a "heaping amount" of fries. Now maybe a "heaping amount" it's different to everyone but this was not a "heaping amount". I was actually shocked when opening it up since it was in such a MASSIVE box. EXTREMELY disappointed. Even our order that came with fries was not even enough to give to make up for the other. It's been a long time since I was last at your restaurant and I do not recall receiving this little amount of fries. But if this is what I'm going to get when ordering, I don't think I'll be back again or recommend it. This is straight up crazy.

Its so hard to find a place with decent service and good food. I met up with my family here in hopes it would bring us a little love from back home (NS). My brother loved it and I also thought it was decent. We sat outside, inside appeared vibey at quick glance and outside the chair could have been better (tall chairs & tables) they had a table with propane fire which was nice. We brought our service dog and they instantly brought a bowl of water. 1 staff pet the dog without asking. Having a service dog you don't want that. Service was great except for at the end they weren't as good with keeping up with the drinks as they first were ( maybe because it was busy and they thought we were leaving soon) still it started quick as drinks weren't finished and we were asked if wanted another. Which is honestly hard to get that kind of service. Food was great except wouldn't recommend steak sandwich. They over cooked it and seemed to be a cheap steak although price wasn't the cheapest. Manger did personally come out to apologize and mention it wasn't going to be on the bill. Replacement meal came out quick but before the meals too awhile to arrive. Food was decently priced. Over all great experience 👍

We are writing this review mainly because of a young lady, Amber, who was our waitress. This was our first time at this restaurant in Sherwoood Park. The atmosphere is nice but the the atmosphere was GREAT because of her service, knowledge and absolutely incredible service. It wasn't just our service. We heard her speak to others and how knowledgeable and incredibly helpful she is. Sure hope the boss takes note of this because it's not just the food (which was great) that will bring us back - it is both.
Amber, you are a rare soul and it is so nice to compliment rare people.

My mom and I stopped for lunch there out of the blue. We were treated so good from the moment we walked in. EVERYONE was so great!!!! We love seafood and will be back. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our kind of place. The atmosphere and food are excellent. Novalee our server was sooooo knowledgeable and sweet. We just loved her. You guys are doing a great job!!!! Nice to see. I want to try everything on the menu!!! Lol. See you next time!!!!
