If you have to unwind and have a beer 🍺 Anchor is where it’s at. Great food cooked by the experienced chefs. Bartenders are all nice and fun to get along with. The vibe is amazing with the variety of music that is played amongst people with different nationalities. The owner is super nice. Will assist you with any further questions or concerns. Nothing but love for this beautiful Southside establishment.

My very first Canadian pub experience in Edmonton. Had a blast hearing people actually cheering on a team. My friends had food and I enjoyed the good mood. Lots of parking outside.

Dry, shrivelled up chips, even drier fish fillets wrapped in darkened, overcrisp batter. This was a Fish n chips dish like I never tasted before. The coleslaw tasted metallic. Not my money's worth. Was a Friday night order delivered to our home.

I went there because people raved about the food. Specifically the calamari. But the food was not good. Had the calamari and steak bites, the calamari was weird huge half moons that were fishy and served with ranch instead of tzatziki. The steak bites had a nice smokey flavor but overcooked and did not come with the onion and mushrooms like it said on the menu. The caesar and service was good but food and ambiance were definitely lacking.

Just ordered through skip and can honestly say this is probably the worst food I've ever recieved from a restaurant. The only thing we ate was the ceasar salad because it's hard to mess up lettuce and dressing. It was missing the parmesan cheese though. The fish was like it was from 2 days ago and stuck in the sun to warm it up, fries were like cardboard and the spaghetti that came with the chicken parmesan was so dry it was stuck in the shape of the container when I tried to dump it out. Don't even get me started on the boiled-chicken-coated-in-tasteless-batter mess that was supposed to be the topper on the spaghetti. Save your money and order from a real restaurant, this place clearly makes its money from liquor sales because you'd have to be hammered to eat this food.

The food the surprisingly delicious, the pizza, burgers and wings are a must try and it was fairly priced. Went on Friday for latin night and it was a great time . Dj was amazing. Will go again

We ordered appetizers and salads, though Skip. The food arrived in fairly good time, especially for a Saturday night, and was packed and presented well. The serving size was standard, and the dips were proportional to the dishes, which was nice. The salads were fresh and the vegetables crisp, which was great! I was disappointed, though, that the menu stated "feta" cheese in the Greek salad, but it came with Goat cheese, which I don't enjoy and would have passed on the cheese, had I known. Goat and Feta have very distinct flavors and looks, so I'm wondering if it was a mistake on the order or on the menu? Thanks again!
