What else could I say, but I love everything in this place, from the decorations, the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. It was such an amazing feeling when you could dine in and just get that carefree vibe, especially when the staff are so friendly and they interact with you, you enjoy every bite of your meal.

The atmosphere in a cafe is pretty nice except the dirty washroom with sticky floor.

It was a weekend lunch, so for 5+ people we should wait 30 minutes to be seated which is okay for all day breakfast place on a weekends.
But this was the last “okay” for that place.

First, the waiter took an order for drinks and don’t know why but water was served the last 🤔

We had a pretty big group of people and I can understand that it takes some time to cook 1 meal per person, but 1 hour.. and not even for everyone - that wasn’t good.

Additionally we had a few same meals, but the sauce was only on one plate.

So disappointed with my take out order
Ordered the soup which was $13 dollars served with a side of stale bread and less than a cup of soup. It was the taco soup, tasty, but not much in the soup.
I ordered eggs Benedict and it was jammed in a box that didn't fit all the food so it was deconstructed and ingredients were piled on top of each other. I asked for soft poached and they were hard (see pics). The bread was small stale and hard to chew
I did order some bakery which was decent but that meal was not worth $90
Will not be back.

I wanted to like this place so bad, but I was utterly disappointed. We waited about 40 minutes for a table; no biggie, we figured it would be good and worth it. Upon coming inside the restaurant and getting sat, the atmosphere had a good vibe to it and the space of the restaurant was well decorated. Unfortunately, upon sitting our service was mediocre at best. We finally got our food another 50 minutes after sitting down ; 90 minutes after getting to the restaurant. We had to repeat ourselves more than once to get what we needed (water, an extra fork, etc).

THEN, my food came. Although there was a good amount of fries, LOOK AT THE SIZE OF MY SANDWICH!!! I was shocked. I waited 90 whole minutes and got the tiniest turkey and brie sandwich I have EVER seen and it was $17!!! For a $17 sandwich I expect top quality bread and at LEAST the size of a normal slice of the grocery store’s cheapest loaf of bread. If you look closely at the photo, each half of the sandwich was like an inch and a half by an inch and a half. It was as big as a taking a "Wunderbread" slice of bread, slicing it in half and using each half for the top and bottom of the sandwich respectively. In other words; my $17 turkey and brie sandwich was the size of a half sandwich. I could not have been more disappointed. Was it good? Yes. Was it great? Nope. Would I order it again? Nope. Was it worth $17? Absolutely not!!!!!! I felt so ripped off and I was still hungry when I left…

We went in based on reviews. The shakshuka was boiled veggies with poached eggs that didn’t spill. No salt no pepper. Just bland. My son got the little breakfast and the pancakes were flat rubber with no flavor. The sausage was so bad just tasted like ground pork. No flavor. The toast was old stale bread. The home potatoes were deep fried, which is lazy. The bacon was bad. Never had bad bacon before. The bakery area was full of stale options. We asked and they don’t have a baker and so they are choosing to sell old things. Our coffee barely got refilled. The place was empty and for good reason. Stella’s is so much better. Pricey and not worth anything.

Have been 3 times now. Food is very good (although I find the coffee bitter), atmosphere is cheery, service is excellent. Jaqueline is super personable, Sean is really comical, both are extremely efficient. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Well done!

We were very disappointed in the service we received today. We waited an hour for our food. When ordering, I asked for egg whites. The server told me that they don't have egg whites. They use egg whites on the Alena restaurant side and the yolk on their side. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard considering the eggs we saw them serving. Of course you have both. She didn't know what a hard boiled egg was and kept referring to it as poached. The server never checked in on us in between and not once did we get an apology. Instead, she kept making jokes. When the food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. My husband had the eggs and they were dry and the potatoes had no flavor. Definitely was worth the wait and irritation.

I really liked it. First thing I noticed when entering was the cozy atmosphere and the smell - both immediately friendly and relaxing. The service was excellent, matched only by the delicious food; my eggs Benedict was perfect(as were the fried potatoes) and my daughter claimed the pancakes were better than her mother’s(sacrilege, and a very real compliment)!
Highly recommended.
