My daughter and I have been visiting Body Blitz for a couple of years now. It’s relaxing and truly a wonderful experience. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly. I brought a couple of friends there as well, and they also enjoyed it. We liked the massage, the body scrub, and the water therapy.

Not Worth the Price – Disappointing Scrub Experience

I have visited Body Blitz Spa West and spent over $250 for a coffee body scrub and massage, expecting a high-end, relaxing treatment to match the spa’s reputation. While I genuinely enjoyed the therapeutic water circuit — especially the hot pool, cold plunge, and steam room — the body scrub experience was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had.

They brought me into a small treatment room with a rock-hard slab (not marble — actual rough stone), asked me to fully undress and lie face down. From the start, it felt uncomfortable and far from luxurious.

The scrub itself was barely a scrub. The dry brushing and coffee scrub felt rushed and incomplete — entire areas of my body, like the backs of my legs, were completely ignored. I kept thinking, “Maybe she’ll go back and scrub again, or add another layer?” but she didn’t. It was a very light, surface-level scrub, not at all what you’d expect for that price point.

To top it off, at the end of the session, I was literally hosed down with water like a car wash. No warm towel service, no rinsing station — just laying there being sprayed off on the rock bed. It felt rushed, impersonal, and degrading after paying such a high price.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the 90 minutes in the water circuit was genuinely relaxing. But for the scrub and treatment experience, I regret spending my money. I wouldn’t recommend this spa for body treatments — you’re better off enjoying just the pools and skipping the overpriced services.

I've been a fan of Body Blitz's unique all-women's therapeutic water spa experience, but unfortunately, my recent visit to the west end location fell short of expectations. While the spa's atmosphere and staff were welcoming, as always, the therapeutic water areas didn't meet the standard I'm accustomed to.

The temperatures in the Dead Sea and Epsom salt pools weren't consistent, and the jets weren't functioning properly. It would have been helpful if the receptionist had informed me of these issues before I paid for the water circuit. Some residue in the Epsom salt pool was also noticeable.

Additionally, I experienced a lack of staff presence in the therapeutic water areas, which made it difficult for myself and others to request towels. However, when I called the front desk, they were quick to assist.

The sauna and steam rooms were functioning normally, but overall, I felt that the experience was subpar, and my money wasn't well spent. As a regular customer, it was disappointing to see a deviation from the usual high standards.

For those new to Body Blitz, I highly recommend trying the east end location, which has consistently delivered an exceptional experience. Perhaps this location just needs some tweaking to get back on track. Two stars for now, hoping for improvement in the future.

A group of us went here for my sister's bachelorette, it was a great way to start off our weekend. The spa is inviting, calm and peaceful, and the staff were all so kind.
The water circuits felt amazing, we left energized and refreshed.
Will be returning for sure!

Had a really rejuvenating time at Body Blitz with my niece. We both loved it. I was returning but this was her first experience. I lovely way for us to connect while also relaxing and most definitely leaving more zen then when we entered. PS Only one note as an area of improvement -- would appreciate a sweetner option as a vegan for tea as well as well as used with other juice bar options. Thank you!

I've been visiting Body Blitz Adelaide for over 10 years, and it’s always been a wonderful experience. My favorite option is combining one of their glow/scrub treatments with time in the waters. It’s definitely less busy earlier in the day, so I recommend aiming to be in the pool by early afternoon—this way, you'll finish your treatment around 4 PM, which feels like the perfect way to wrap up the visit.

While the treatments aren’t cheap, they’re definitely a treat! That said, I do have a few suggestions for improvement:

- Hairdryers at the East location: I visited your East location today and noticed the hairdryers are quite old and slow. A refresh would be much appreciated!

- Drinking water in the spa: I remember when the spa offered infused water with plastic cups for refills. Now, it’s just a basic water fountain—please consider upgrading this to something nicer.

- Booking system issue: When booking via a mobile browser, I didn’t notice that it defaulted to the King East location instead of Adelaide, where I always go. This led to a last-minute rush between locations, leaving me with only 30 minutes in the water circuit. I spoke with staff at both locations, and it seems to be a bug—so be sure to double-check your location if booking via mobile browser!

- Tipping policy: Body Blitz used to be a tip-free establishment, but this changed quietly a few years ago. It would be great if this policy was communicated more clearly.

Overall, I still love coming here, but a few small upgrades and fixes would make the experience even better!

I love Body Blitz! This is my fourth time visiting the Adelaide location, and I’ve already booked for next month. The staff is lovely, the amenities are clean & it’s a relaxing and rejuvenating experience overall. Ive yet to find it overcrowded which is my biggest complaint with most spa facilities. You can utilize just the shared amenities which includes a circuit of warm, hot & cold pools as well as sauna & steam room. The waters are walk- in only unless you book a service (highly recommend), with a service you secure a spot in the waters and can arrive up to 90 minutes prior to your service appointment to enjoy the pools, steam room & sauna. For services I’ve tried massages, a facial & the deluxe coffee scrub. All the were excellent, although I do tend to prefer the use of an extracting tool for facials and this one was done manually, but it was still lovely regardless. The deluxe coffee scrub (90 minutes) was worth every penny, it’s essentially a full body scrub with a relaxation massage, lymphatic drainage, mini facial & head massage with hair wash. I was walking on a cloud afterward. I can’t wait to try more services at body blitz! Pro tip- if you have benefits the RMT massages are great.
