Today was my first time visiting this salon and my experience was incredible. I traveled from Vancouver to Nanaimo for this salon specially my hair dresser Delphine who moved to this salon recently from North Van. and spoiler alert it was definitely worth it. I had an amazing experience with how the salon operates and makes the guests feel so welcome. I love the clean chemical they use and the brand which is vegan and smells delicious 🙂 Im sure everyone is great but I do recommend Delphine since i’ve been trusting only her with my hair for years.
10/10 would travel to Nanaimo for her again ❤️

Had a deep tissue massage with Krystal and she was amazing! My back was super tight and stiff, and I used to wake up with pain every day. After seeing her, the pain was gone and I finally felt relief. She made me feel comfortable the whole time and knew exactly what she was doing. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone who actually helps you feel better!

Two days ago I went in for a haircut at Breze. I asked for the dead ends to be cut/cleaned up and some layers. Specifically face layers that can be pulled into a pony. I left with it in a blow out style, so thought it was fine. Later that night I straightened it only to see that the hair cut was way off (see pictures). The front sections of my hair were significantly shorter than the rest and there was no blending of layers.
Upset I called and asked for a refund as it cost $84 (not including tip). The manager said that as per their policy they can only offer me to get it re done by the stylist that made the mistake. There is no way I wanted to go back and do that. One because I didn’t want my hair cut there again and two because it would be very awkward for both myself and the stylist. I would have been happy with the reimbursement and owning of the mistake but instead I’m left feeling ripped off and with a horrible experience. I also had to pay someone new to fix the cut. I told the manager I would be leaving a review which she replied with “that’s fine I will just reply to it”. Which made me feel like she just did not care.

At this point I’m aware of the policy but you would think they would take into consideration the situation and just offer a refund versus putting myself and her stylist in an uncomfortable situation.

i have been getting monthly facials with krystal and i have to say i couldn’t be more happy. my face genuinely glows after every service i have received. krystal creates such a beautiful space with such warm to every appointment. Her knowledge on the products she uses is next level, and has played such a huge part in healing my acne. cannot wait for my next facial.

Today I had a chair massage by Erica, followed by a facial and a hot stone massage by Courtney. I went feeling exhausted and stiff, and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The facial left my skin glowing and hydrated, and the hot stone massage was amazing; I didn't want it to end. The salon is welcoming and cozy. I am so thankful for my spa day.

Wonderful colour service from Delphine! She’s new to the Nanaimo area, and I’m happy to have found her before she’s full with clients… I don’t think it will take long! I told her to do what she thought would look good, and I am very happy I did! She transformed my really grown out dull blonde into a dreamy sunkissed blended blonde that will grow out perfectly.
