We stopped by Browns Socialhouse on our way to the ferry terminal and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind before continuing our journey. I opted for the Spicy Ginger Beef, and true to its name, it packed just the right amount of heat. The flavors were bold and balanced, with the perfect level of spice to keep things interesting. Pairing it with a crisp, chilled Pinot Grigio was an excellent choice, as the wine’s refreshing notes perfectly complemented the dish.

Our server was fantastic—attentive, polite, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s always nice to have staff that checks in without being overbearing, and she struck that perfect balance. Service like this really elevates the dining experience.

Whether you’re in a rush or looking for a place to linger, Browns Socialhouse is a great option. It was the perfect pit stop before catching our ferry, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Browns in Tsawwassen is one of the few spots open past 10 pm, making it a solid choice for late-night drinks and dining. The restaurant offers both indoor and covered outdoor seating, with a pleasant ambiance throughout. There's ample seating inside and plenty of parking available outside. The staff is attentive and friendly, adding to the positive experience. The menu is straightforward, and the food is flavorful. TVs above the bar provide a chance to catch some sports while you eat, but the atmosphere leans more towards a restaurant than a bar.

We ended up going earlier on a sunday evening and there was lots of seating. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Cowboy salad and a burger with yam fries, both tasted good. There was an issue with our order, but it was taken care of quickly.
The location, while attached to the Coast Hotel, is not accessable through the hotel.

Just got done with happy hour nachos and a single amber ale...

The happy hour nachos are very very small...i get it to some degree...happy hour is tidbits...but definitely expected more substantial than this

$23 total with 15% tip for a beer and very very small serving of nachos...

Would have been much happier in the $15 to $17 range.

I evaluate every place i go and ask myself if i would return...probably not, just a bit on expensive side for simple snack

We had dinner at Brown's Social House which right beside the Coast Tsawwassen Inn.

We had never been there before and were a bit overwhelmed by the loud music and numerous TV screens.

However, we were very happy with the prompt attention from our server, Michael.

We started with yam fries, served with a delicious chipotle sauce. For dinner we chose Southwest Chicken Bowls.

The food was fresh, colourful and nicely plated.

After we relaxed, we did not notice the music so much.

Having a professional server like Michael enhanced our overall experience.

My partner and I stayed nearby at the hotel and went here for dinner a few times. He's quadriplegic and was able to transfer into their booth seats. Staff were very kind and accommodating. And the food (especially the The French [beef] Dip) were 10/10!

I frequently stop here for lunch if Im working in the area.

The food is great. Although this time I tryed the dry ribs, my only complaint is there wasnt much rib lol.

The service is top notch, the ladys are always lovely and helpfull.

This is also one of my favourite patios to enjoy a cold one one.
