My experience at Cactus Restaurant was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were very kind and professional. The service was excellent, and the environment added a special touch to the meal. The food quality was fantastic as well. The only point I’d mention is that our meal was a bit too spicy 🌶️🙄, but overall everything was great. A big thank you to the Cactus Restaurant team for the warm hospitality and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Simon during our recent family dinner at Cactus Club, and we truly can’t say enough good things about him.

From the moment we sat down, Simon made us feel completely welcome. He was warm, funny, and incredibly attentive — the kind of server who makes you feel like you’re the only table in the room (in the best way possible). His energy and humor had the whole family smiling, especially the kids.

We happened to mention we were flying home soon, and the kids were really excited — and Simon didn’t miss a beat. He brought a special warmth to the evening and even went the extra mile by adding a sweet message about the trip in the cheesecake dessert. That small, thoughtful touch made the kids absolutely light up — and honestly, it meant a lot to us, too!

I have been going to this Cactus Club for years. The staff are always amazing. Unfortunately the food is not anymore. I ordered the bbq chicken club and the chicken was thinner than the slice of tomato. I had the fish taco’s another time and it was basically batter and hardly any fish. We didn’t bother with more drinks or dessert - we just left after our meal. I am so disappointed.

I’ve always loved the food and service at Cactus Club. On Sunday, June 23rd, I visited with my boyfriend and his son to celebrate my birthday. The staff and service were great as always — very friendly and attentive.

However, unfortunately, the food didn’t meet the same standard as the downtown location. Over the past couple of months, I’ve visited the downtown location a few times and have always been very satisfied. I also had a good experience at the North Vancouver location about three years ago.

This time, though, I was disappointed. I ordered the Mushroom Steak — it was overly salty, and the mushroom sauce just didn’t taste as good as what I’ve had downtown. My boyfriend had the Ravioli with shrimp, and he also noticed a difference in taste and quality compared to the downtown location.

I truly enjoy dining at Cactus Club, so I hope this feedback helps. I’m sharing it because I value the brand and want to see consistent quality across all locations.

My family’s go-to Cactus. Never overly crowded (unlike the Park Royal one), prompt service, and haven’t had an issue dining at this location.

Our server put in our order wrong, but it was taken care of without us having to ask.

We never write reviews, but we wanted to give a BIG thank you. My partner and I were having our 10th anniversary on a VERY loud evening (around 930pm) The manager took notice and came by to check in on us. So generous, he quickly got us moved to a quieter corner spot so we could really enjoy. Which we really appreciate.

Unfortunately, our food arrived and I found 2 hairs. Gross, and we were starving but things happen. The same manager came and brought over the guacamole dip while we waited for our meals to be remade. We guessed he knew we’d like it. As someone who worked in the service industry having service as amazing as our experience tonight is a rare find. We both forgot the young man’s name but he was truly amazing, and wanted to extend the gratitude. And thanks for the yummy dessert!
