Enfin une pâtisserie fiable en Alberta! Ouverte tous les jours pendant 12h.

Cafe La Reine is a quaint little java stop on the east side of Millcreek Ravine on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton.

Service here was friendly and they do have a wide array of foods that are hit sweet and savoury.

The coffee was good. It's not top shelf java for connoisseurs but is a good community offering.

The space is simple. Some have complained that the chairs are not comfortable and that would be my only take away from this review.

I love how cozy the cafe is, and how aesthetic it is. Its a nice place to relax and chat in. The pastries were alright. We ordered a London fog but they ran out of Earl grey and replaced it with English breakfast, which made it taste weird.. ordered also a hot water, chocolate croissant, and Paris breast. The chocolate croissant is pretty good when heated up

I did have an issue though, which I only realized after I left.. I paid around $20 after a 15% tip for the London fog with an extra tea bag, hot water, Paris breast ($4.95), and chocolate croissant. I'm not sure why it costed so much just for those and feel like they had overcharged me, or charged me for the hot water...

-Edit: The photo I took of the pastries, the 7.95 looks like 4.95, so the pricing makes more sense now. That was my mistake, my apologies!

Yes, this is a very nice place. Good atmosphere, calm. Nice staff. The food quality is excellent. I found it very expensive, however. This is the reason for the rating. I purchased a chocolate croissant and a medium latte. I found the price of $13.95 for the 2 items excessive for what i actually received. The croissant was great. The latte lacked coffee flavour. All the best to your company, but i will not return as a customer.

Great selection of homemade pastries, breads, quiche, sandwiches, specialty crafted coffees,teas, and artisanal ice cream / gelato. Cozy and artsy decor. Perfect for reviewing, catching up with friends or if you just want to have a great coffee and pastries on a lazy afternoon.

Lovely cafe! Fabulous lattes, the best chicken and waffles I've ever had, cozy, relaxing atmosphere and kind, attentive service. So happy to have found Cafe la Reine on my recent trip to Edmonton!

We are first time here because of the “Brunch menu “.
I saw it on instagram said they have bunch on Saturday and Sunday, so we are here.

When we arrived it was 12:45pm, and what we can see is breakfast menu until 12pm and there is no sign to saying brunch menu or breakfast menu until later time.

So I m a bit sad to look at the lunch menu, unfortunately nothing I want, I was decide to leave but my bf run to the cashier to ask.
Then NOW WE KNOW ITS UNTIL 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Foods are good, drinks are great.
And I think they are half self serve.
But I saw there are 2 old ladies, one with wheelchair and the other with crutch.
When their order ready, one of the member just walk next to them and tell them their order is ready…. That’s a bit sad.

But other than that, place is nice , feel comfortable, foods are good 👍 drinks are great too.
