Si vous cherchez un bel endroit calme et tranquille où vous héberger dans la ville de Canmore et sa frénésie...||Tout juste en bordure de la ville, proche de la forêt et d’un sentier menant à la rivière, le B&B construit à la main par son propriétaire avec des matériaux récupérés est vraiment très beau et charmant.||Grande fenestration, beaucoup d’espace, une chambre bien équipée, idem pour la salle de bain, un grand lit king très confortable. Le tout est d’une propreté étincelante.||Des propriétaires charmants, calmes et posés, amoureux de la nature, qui vous donneront de précieux conseils sur les randonnées pédestres ou encore où vous restaurer. Valérie et Bob sont des hôtes parmi les plus accueillants qu’il nous a été donné de connaître lors de nos divers voyages. ||Si nos voyages devaient nous ramener dans la région, c’est sans hésiter que nous referions le choix de ce B&B.||If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay in the city of Canmore and its frenzy ...||Right on the edge of the city, near the forest and a path leading to the river, the B & B built by hand by its owner with recovered materials is really very beautiful and charming.||Large windows, plenty of space, a well-equipped room, same for the bathroom, a large king bed, very comfortable. Everything is sparkling clean.||Charming owners, calm and positive , in nature lovers, who will give you valuable advice on hiking or where to eat. Valérie and Bob are some of the most hospitable hosts we have ever met on our various trips.||If our trips were to bring us back to the region, it is without hesitation that we would,again, make the choice of this B & B

Artisans was the first B&B we stayed at during our month tour of the Rockies and Vancouver island. We stayed in the tree house for 5 nights which was ideal for us.The location just 5minutes from Canmore and right on the Bow river and all the fantastic trails in the area. Val ensured we had lots of goodies for us to make our own breakfast for our early starts and the kitchenette was perfect for us to make packed lunches and coffee to take with us. Val and Bob were fantastic hosts and our chats were both useful and informative. when booking we were unsure about staying in Canmore rather than Banff but it was definitely the right choice. The town is lovely and after a day ib Banff heavenly to come back to. Thanks to both of you for providing a fabulous start to our amazing tour

We spent 5 days at the Canadian Artisans in the Treehouse Suite. As previous people have said, this is a lovely place & setting. Valerie & Bob were terrific hosts - suggesting places to go, giving us "bear deterrents", and buying food to suit our dietary needs. The breakfast offerings were perfect - homemade breakfast cakes, granola, nut spread included. We enjoyed having breakfast when we wanted it based on our plans for the day. I'm so glad we stayed in Canmore, rather than Banff, since the latter was much too crowded. Canmore town was fun to walk around. One of our favorite hikes was in Canmore - Grassi Lakes.

Val and Bob are the perfect hosts. They have a beautiful property that is conveniently located walking distance from beautiful trails and from central town of Canmore. ||We stayed for 6 nights for our 25th anniversary. The tree house room is up a flight of stairs. There is a kitchenette area with sink and mini-fridge. We bought groceries at the farmers’ market (Thursdays) and the grocery stores which allowed us to get moving early to hit the trails. Val and Bob did have emergency cereal which we did use on two different days—whew!||They checked in with us once a day to find out what we did and give suggestions about what we might do next. Val’s suggestions from hikes to dinner were spot on for our tastes. Val even gave us a little tutorial about bear spray which they have to borrow. ||The king sized bed was very comfortable and there are drawers built in to the bed frame. The shower doubles as a steam shower which felt very good after a long hike. ||We would definitely stay there again(and longer) if we ever get back to the area.

Probably nothing extra to add to all the other reviews! We loved the steam shower, the homemade granola, nut butter and baking, the huge bed and the location (only 5 mins from town but very quiet). Val and Bob made us very welcome and gave some great tips for hikes and food. We would definitely recommend Canadian Artisans to anyone and would love to stay again. Thanks for the loan of the bear spray too - glad we didn’t need it!

This property has been lovingly crafted by the owners from solid wood and it’s location on the edge of town, but quietly tucked into the woods, is fabulous.||The area is a high end residential avenue with short walks to the river and surrounding countryside. Perfect for us.||Valerie and Bob are extremely helpful with information about the area, walks, places of interest and how to stay safe from the bears! ||The food left in our kitchenette fridge for our “help yourself” breakfast was great for us. Various quality cereal, fresh fruit, bread, jams, yoghurts, cakes plus good coffee and tea.||Our upstairs room was light and airy, trees surround the back of the property, the bed and bedding were really comfortable and we both felt so relaxed whilst we were there.||The little kitchenette was well equipped, fridge, cutlery, dishes, plates glasses and cups plus lots of thoughtful extras. Cooking not possible, although a microwave is available, however, with Canmore Main Street restaurants 5 minutes walk away cooking is not necessary at all.||All in all we loved our 5 nights at Canadian Artisans and both felt quite sad to leave.

This is my 3rd stay at Canadian Artisans, and it’s like coming home - even on the first visit! Val & Bob are the most welcoming people, and the rooms are very welcoming too... their personal touches of whimsy are like a Japanese garden: small things that surprise and delight the eye depending on where you sit. Homey, rustic, craftsy, comfortable... love it here!||Pics are of my room and the “door wall” that separates the bike storage from the deck (on which I’m sitting, enjoying coffee and birdsong...) 😊

One of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at. Perfect location just between downtown Canmore and the river. Everywhere you want to go is just a short walk away from the gorgeous custom built home. So many small details here make this a sanctuary that most places can't compare to. The tree house is a little bigger, quieter and has a steam shower. The forest suite below has a great jet tub. You can't go wrong with either. For your breakfast, bring your own food for the mini fridge or Val & Bob will stock it for you. Or walk a couple blocks to many options downtown. It's a relaxing romantic place to stay.
