-LOVED LOVED the games and arcade in the lobby (plus Christmas decorations/tree). Perfect entertainment for my boys and husband, after the pool!!!
-Large room (2 queens and rented cot $10).
-Accommodated, us wanting the east side, to see the new years fire works, from our room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Canalta Airdrie the executive king kitchen was so great for our family it actually felt like a home away from home especially after a 15 hour drive from the great customer service at the front desk to the amazing staff and amenities a special shout out to Riza, Crystal and Leanna for the extra special service we received thank you again! The hotel is beautiful keep up the great work!

Things didn't get off to a good start here. Upon arriving you have guests open drinking on the bench in front of the hotel entrance. They were being loud and obnoxious. Once inside the staff didn't seem interested. However, we overall looked it. The room was very clean, and spacious; however, we discovered later that the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from up above and beside. If you stay here, make sure you are on the 4th floor. There is no breakfast, but they give you a $5 off coupon to Smitty's which is attached to the hotel. However, everything there is overpriced, so go to the Tim Horton's right beside it. There is a games room for families which is nice, and a pool with a slide. However, given my experience, I wouldn't stay again.

Stayed for one night before a flight. It has a great pool with a water slide, a game room with lots of old arcade games/early 90s video games for free as well as foosball and board games. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Loved their assortment of teas and coffees in the lobby! Really felt taken care of. Great value!

We decided to pay a little extra to stay here and canceled our original hotel booking as we were here last year and the pool and waterslide were my son's favorite, as well the rooms are great sizes. However, we got checked into our room and went to go see the pool area to find out it wasn't working. No one told us this ahead of time or offered any alternative. Even some complimentary passes to the aquatic center near the hotel would have been nice for the amount we paid for the room. We probably won't be staying here again, as we do come into Airdrie often.

Rooms are nice. Disappointed that their website did not state that they do not offer a complimentry breakfast as the canalta website states that is standard , instead we got a 5 dollar coupon each to go to Smittys thats attatched what a joke food sucked and 5 dollars barely coved my coffee at 3.95. And the parking is also terrible here. We frequent Canaltas but will never return to this one.

My family visits from Saskachewan and this hotel was highly recommended by a friend of mine, stayed for 3 nights, and we had a lovely stay, very clean and cozy room, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good location to go around in Calgary, Banff and Red deer
