Use to be the best spot in town. I spend $100 there every single week. Not anymore. The new (ish) supervisor is very confrontational and quick to tell people they aren't allowed back in "her store" the moment she doesn't agree with something. Absolutely appalled with the way she conducts herself. Completely unacceptable, do not spend your money here.

One year ago, i left a 5 star review. The workers were amazing. The stock was great. The prices were good. Unfortunately, they hired a bad apple for a manager. The manager on duty gave me a very aggressive stare as soon as I walked in. I continued to be polite and tried to get 1 little drink with no drama. The manager had other plans and ideas as he wanted to stir up drama for no reason. I know it's just a weed store but as a manager or someone in customer service, it's just basic hospitality and decency to not give dirty looks to paying customers or talk in an aggressive tone. It was quite unusual to see a grown man act like a child to not sell me weed because he felt like it. My license was expired, although I had my renewal on me as well, which is why I went and got it. There was no resolution as I'm not sure why, other than for his own unknown hateful reasons. It sucks because the workers here used be so great. This USED to be the go-to. If you're hoping for a vibe, check out Spirit Leaf or anywhere else. I went to Spirit Leaf after and couldn't have been happier to have left such a negative atmosphere to go to a happy one 🙂

I was having drinks and watching the Oilers game nearby, and while waiting for my truck to warm up, I walked into Cana Cabana to browse their products. I saw a few things I liked, especially Mission Launch Control by Space Race Cannabis.

When I went to buy it, the skinny guy at the counter told me he couldn’t sell it to me because I wasn’t an “exclusive member.” I told him I’d pay the regular price that was listed right next to it, but he still refused, saying he physically couldn’t sell it to me.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I have to pay a fee just for the privilege of spending my own money here? The only place I’ve ever paid for a membership is Costco—and at least there, I get warehouse-sized quantities at a good price. If you’re not going to do the same, fix your ridiculous policy, Cana Cabana. If your going to have a regular price posted next to it and not let me purchase it for the 'regular price' then take that shit down.

Until then, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

As a matter of fact the law states

" If a store displays both a "regular price" and a "member price," a reasonable consumer would expect to be able to purchase the product at the regular price without any extra requirements.

If they refuse to sell it at that price, it could be seen as bait-and-switch tactics, which are illegal under the Competition Act in Canada.

I went in to do some last minute shopping g for Christmas and wanted to look longer but I was driven out by the smell. The woman working today at about 3:30 smelled really really bad and i had to leave before I got sick. Bad hygiene is extremely unprofessional. Went elsewhere to finish shopping.
