I really liked the dumplings I ordered! They were really good. I got take out while waiting for the ferry. Four stars just because it was super expensive for 12 dumplings.

That was the most disappointing Chinese food we have ever eaten. The wonton soup looked like water with wontons and no flavour. The hot and sour soup was a watery cornstarch goop. I thought I ordered ginger beef but instead got chewy tendony sloppy meat. Please save your money as it was very expensive, do not eat here!!!!! You can easily eat at the Lobster Pound for the prices we paid here!!!

Fast, good Chinese menu. We opted for combination plates due to traveling. Would love to try lobster dishes when we could take leftovers with us. Great option when waiting for NL ferry.

Below average food for above average price. And they don't even give you a fork or a napkin 🤦🏻‍♀️ General Tao chicken wasn't even fully sauced and tasted like dog shit, the rice was so dry everyone literally choked. This place is literally awful.

I hate to say this, as I've been enjoying Canton since I was about 6 years old. But in the past few years, with the random closures, it's becoming increasingly hard to support. I hope in the future, they are more considerate of customers when it comes to closures and notice

$50... including delivery... but like 200m from my house... sucks not being able to just walk in guess... F me. Chicken balls, 2 egg rolls, wanton soup. Chicken ball container isn't even full.

Fresh tasting, ready in ten minutes, decent sized portions AND they put the red sauce on the side (so the chicken balls or whatever you get it with, stays crunchy and fresh).
This place is better service and quality than most places in Halifax city!
We ordered chow mein, chicken balls (12 in a pack), vegetable fried rice, dumplings and two spring rolls for $55

Will order again. Thank you!

I would consider myself a fairly regular customer at the canton. Normally the food is good. I like to order the number 10 comb/plate. However, tonight I order my #10 plate, get home and ready to eat and the veggies are mush, eat is cold no favor and hard, also egg roll is off. Only thing I could eat was chicken balls. So I call to let them know. First told vegies were supposed to be muskie after being cooked. I was asked my phone number told it wasn't in their system. Then told they could give rice and veggies but not chicken balls because I did eat them. NOW NOT TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS. Have a look at this dish.
