With two excellent arenas there is ample ice for kids to play our national sport. The entrance is located on the East side of the building and has a great ramp for handicap ♿️ access or people with large hockey bags on wheels.

They have skate sharpening here in case your skates ⛸️ are feeling a bit dull.

The Pretzel shop makes fresh cinnamon Pretzels all day long which makes them irresistible. The Booster Juice here is also a great healthy alternative to pretzels.

The locker rooms are clean, well-marked and a good size. The television screens clearly mark which arena your team is playing and which locker room is assigned.

The seating area for the fans is pretty nice as well as it is elevated and close to the glass.

There is a lot of parking but it always seems to be full so arrive early.

This is a very mice rec center, however it would be nice to see more open or public skating times. This stands with as well with most all rec centers.

Impressive facility with so many different things. 4 arenas, YMCA gym and pool, City of Calgary Library, multiple gyms, lots of meeting spaces and a variety of stores and food places through out

I have closely seen the staff and their behaviour, they are very friendly and welcoming. Always greets with a big smile on the face and the services they provide is increadible.The crazy crowd they handle when there is tournament is comendeble.
Except 1-2 employees as they are not that welcoming. Some of the janitors are rude but overall good experience..

Came here to watch our granddaughter skate. She is learning fast and the open skate was controlled well. A few young ones doing things like throwing balls down the middle of the ice, but that was quickly stopped by an adult. Lots of littles learning to skate. It was fun and well kempt arena.

Spectator areas are too cold - need to start turning the warmers on for people if there is a small group there - people should not have to go ask or argue for the heaters to be turned on. Facilities are clean & very convenient to have booster juice there. Looks like a restaurant or pub area MAY be being built within the building overlooking the arenas - hoping this comes to pass soon as it would be really great for families to have a place to grab some rink food or a drink before the games.

What an amazing facility! It has all your needs under one roof. With interconnected buildings, you can easily access the library or YMCA without stepping out on a cold winter day. The library is beautifully arranged with plenty of seating throughout the facility. Plus, there's a Booster Juice and a pretzel spot.
