Chino at CBJJ is an amazing instructor who is highly motivating and positive! One of the nicest guys out there. Chino teaches in a way that keeps the class interested and excited to learn. Having a young daughter in his class was a pleasant surprise. Chino was great at welcoming her and making her feel right at home despite being new. The business is well run, and the instructors are top notch. I was pleasantly surprised by the life skills demonstrated such as respect (for themselves as much as for the opponent) and reinforcement of values.
As a parent, I highly recommend this place....and as an athlete, you can't ask for better. This place is world class....

Our whole family joined CBJJ about a year ago. There are no words for the confidence it has given our daughter. Professor Chino is absolutely amazing with both the kids and adults. His knowledge and teaching style cannot compare to any other. He makes sure he develops a relationship with each and every student and caters to each one’s needs. His exciting and enthusiastic personality just draws the kids in and gets them hooked instantly.He always goes above and beyond for each student and you can see he truly cares. My husband, daughter and I have never felt so welcomed anywhere else in our lives! We are so thankful to be a part of the CBJJ family! I give this martial arts academy the highest of recommendations! My 5 year old has been attending classes with Chino for a year. The tiny ninjas classes are fast paced to keep little ones engaged, with a perfect balance of fun and skill building. I have watched my child grow in confidence, coordination and strength. Chino is friendly, kind, and determined to make sure every child feels included, welcomed and proud!
