Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit dans cet hôtel avant d'attaquer le fameux Cabot Trail. Très belle chambre calme malgré la proximité de la route. Personnel très sympathique. Petit déjeuner classique. A deux pas du Red Shoe Pub, agréable pour boire une bière.

We enjoyed our stay here! Audra was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully furnished, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Convenient location to everything we wanted to see and do in Mabou. One of our top 4 motels during our 2 week trip in NS. Highly recommended. Thanks Audra!

We had the privilege of staying here during our trip to Cape Breton Island. Hands down one of the best places we stayed in. It is very clean and modern. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was great with a big soaker tub. ||Outside, there is a little patio with a bistro set to sit and enjoy the views. ||Definitely a highlight to our vacation.

The motel was renovated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was in a perfect very small-town location across the street from a grocery store, an ATM, up the road from a gas station and a wonderful pub with amazing Irish music, and near coastal hiking, beaches and other Ceilidh Trail sights. Most importantly, the proprietor was an absolute gem, who helped us out in recovering from a flat tire on the road on the weekend. She offered to pick us up while we were waiting by the side of the road for a tow truck, she and her husband arranged for a mechanic to come to the motel to check out the car on Sunday (his day off) and pick up a new tire, she accommodated us for a second night, and she lent us a car while we waited for a new tire. We found people in Nova Scotia to be incredibly friendly and helpful, but our motel proprietor stood out for her generosity and good will. This motel gets my highest recommendation.

We spent two nights at the Ceilidh Trail Motel. The location is excellent, with a grocery store, bank, and gas station across the street. It was also a short walk to the Red Shoe Pub, where we heard two nights of amazing music. At the motel, the beds were comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. However, the most impressive part of our stay was the kindness of the owners. We experienced car trouble during this part of our trip, and not only did they offer to pick us up when our car was being towed, they were instrumental in getting the car repaired, and even lent us one of their cars while we waited. Their generosity was extraordinary, and they turned what could have been a miserable two days feeling "stuck" into a great experience. We are so grateful to them. What wonderful people!

Excellent Motel, very clean room and bathroom, room was a good size, bed very comfortable and linens good quality. Room had a mini fridge and microwave. Located right on Route 19 in Mabou with a very easy short walk to The Red Shoe Pub, or the grocery store and liquor store ! The room however was quiet. Audra our contact was lovely. Highly recommend this very reasonably priced Motel which is also not far from Inverness. Would stay here again for sure.

Very clean, very quiet, well-equipped little motel. Room was spacious. Bathroom had recently been renovated so all brand new fixtures. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Very good value with friendly, helpful manager. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this motel. The owner keeps the motel very clean, with all modern and new fixtures. You enter your room to find a modern high quality hotel experience, and walk just outside to the wonderful charm and beauty if Cape Breton. The location is also close proximity to the Glen Breton distillery, and Egypt Falls hiking as well as walking distance to the Red Shoe Pub with daily ceilidhs. We'll make a point of staying here next time we come through Cape Breton Island.
