I have been a client for some time, but recently extremely disappointing experiences. I am never put with requested person and since it’s been awful. Today in particular I asked for a French manicure to have him remove my nails and re do them the exactly the same and states there must have been a misunderstanding. Nope, you just forgot and rushed and I literally paid to have to exact same nails as when I walked in but longer, he forgot to do the French tips and still made me pay for them. I’m going down south next week and wanted something specific and he didn’t even hesitate to make me pay and wish me a nice day. What a joke. It’s not like I asked for something complicated. Over it. I won’t return.
Literally cried walking out, it’s not often I find the time to treat myself and relax, and it’s my first vacation in many many years. such a waste of time and money.

UPDATE: the owner reached out to me the next day, asking me to come back so he can correct my nails. At first I was hesitant, but he truly wanted to have a happy customer. I went back and he fixed my nails and did a really good job.

Second time I come here, first experience was great, but this time was t so much. The gel powder application was good, but the shellac application was horrible (they switched me to another lady for that), it took her over 30 minutes to apply it, and there was a lot of gaps on the sides, overfilling the nailpolish so its on the cuticles. Im okay with things not being perfect, but issue is the answers I got when showing them all the imperfections. They told me this was how it was done and a normal application and denied there being any faults. These pictures were taken the same day I got them done

Horrible experience at Celestial Nails in Rockland. I never take the time to write a bad review but I wouldn’t want anyone to get the experience I had. Firstly, I had booked many weeks in advance for me and my bridal party but when we arrived nobody said hi and we had to wait for a little while since they were only two employees. One of my friends was supposed to get a pedicure but left after an hour in a half since she saw that it would take at least another 30 minutes before getting her toes done. On my part, the job done on my nails was ok.. I was missing gel (it wasn’t all the way on my finger so I could see my real nail) and the white tip of my french manucure was done really quickly (missing some white at a lot of places and line was not well made). I called back the next day to talk to the owner (even if I felt bad) to ask if he could personally fix my nails since it was for my wedding. He said to come back the next day. I came in and again, nobody greeted me at the cash. I sat down and waited for a long while before the owner came to get me. He said 2 minutes to is other client before sitting down with me which I thought was really weird since I knew that fixing my nails wouldn’t take two minutes.. I explained to him again what was wrong and so he called up the other woman who had done my nails and asked me to show her. I was so shy and had to explain to her the problem.. She got so mad at me and started talking very loud. She was very mad at the owner and me and said that the nails were normal. I tried to explain to her again but she was just so mad and was complaining very loudly in the store. The owner told me to go with her even though I had asked him to fix my nails that day. She tried to fix my nails but did an horrible job as you could now see the two tones of white in my french manucure (the one she had done before and the one that was fresh). I told her but she was very unpleasant since she was clearly mad at me for coming back. She just said again that it was normal and let me leave with nails that were worst than before. I ran out of there and told myself that I would never come back again ! Worst experience I had and unfortunatly the day before my wedding. I called another nail company in Rockland when I left and they were kind enough to take me in. The nails were not even comparable. They couldn’t believe that somebody left me with those nails for my wedding. Very unprofessional and unpleasant !

I went in there wanting an acrylic French manicure with black tips; Lan showed me what it would look like by testing it on one finger & I quickly changed my mind and picked something more natural. She was fantastic. Thank you!

The lady who did my nails was amazing, went in for a simple French nail manicure . Extremely satisfied with her work . Will be returning !
