Extremely disappointing!

I had my nails done before, and they hurt my fingers. I thought it might have just been a mistake. However, when I went again this time, they cut two of my fingers. The technician even saw the blood but continued to work on my nails roughly. I told her it was burning and asked to wash my hands.

I just feel really uncomfortable. I have been there 3 to 4 times, and each time I got cut. Now, I can't shake the feeling that it has something to do with my ethnicity. They didn't even apologize; it seems like they don't know how to apologize at all.

Disappointed in the quality of the acrylic nails and gel polish service.
These photos were taken an hour or two after my appointment. Note the sharp hook on my index finger, for example. I had asked the tech to shorten the length several times and she ignored me and rushed through the manicure at one point cutting my nail bed and drawing blood. At checkout my total was much higher than initially quoted.

I went in for a new set pointed out one nail was shorter then the other ( didnt even ask him to fix it ) then proceeded to rush the rest of my service left me with uneven nails and patchy polish... thats not even mentioning the damage he did to my nails woth his drill... if you like your nails to look nice and care about your nail health DO NOT go here.

I booked an appointment online for mani pedi on Friday night and today’s Wednesday and I have not received a confirmation email. After I read the reviews i think it’s a blessing they didn’t confirm.

Canceled.

I drove 45 min because they do dip on the nails. One of my natural nails broke so upon arrival I said I would need a tip. The moment I sat down John cut all my existing natural nails. In fact he didn't even speak to me to even say hello. They do not listen to their customers and will cut all your nails in order to charge you more. Even after the argument he never apologized for his mistake, he attempted to blame the client. I walked out with the nails picture below.

Terrible Experience – Never Going Back!

I had a really bad experience at Celine Nails. I got French tips done, but they cut my cuticles so badly, and the staff was very rough. They still charged me $100, even though they hurt my fingers.

When I went back to remove the nails, they didn’t take them off properly and charged me another $30! The staff was rude and made me feel uncomfortable, and I felt like they treated me differently because of my background. I would not recommend this place at all.

Been here 3 times now to really give this place a fair shot. The first time I went in, I had a very unkind woman do my nails. She didn’t speak the whole time (which is fine) but when she wanted me to move my hands she proceeded to yank my fingers aggressively multiple times and look up at me. I tried to explain my fingers are not flexible like others and she continued yanking the rest of the manicure. The quality, price and experience of all the manicures I have gotten have been far under the standards that a nail salon should be at.

The last time I was in, I got a shellac polish manicure which is a very easy, and quick service. The job was done quickly but after asking a question of getting another coat of polish I feared they would charge me as she only said they do 2. Then asked me if I wanted a 3rd coat.
The polish is barely there the job was slightly messy and three days later a “2 week long” manicure has peeled off most of my nails.

At this point in time it is worth it to make a flipping drive to Halifax then to go to a nail salon that doesn’t care for quality or their clients. Save your money.

Also, nail salon is disgustingly dirty and I am not sure how often the tools are cleaned.

If i could give a zero star i will. I read their multiple bad reviews but still went ahead to go there because i needed them done urgently. Staff are rude. The woman who started my nails knew nothing about what I wanted to do. Later asked the guy there to take over. He was extremely rough and I the cuticles of three fingers injured. I reported this to the receptionist and she basically said oh the nail tech will put something on it, she said no sorry , nothing! And was very rude. As she spoke to me she walking away into a room. The guy didn’t say anything or put anything on my fingers. I had to stop the blood from flowing. They literally charge you for everything! They charge the shaping of nails, everything differently from the prices shown and they don’t tell you. Believe all the bad reviews because they are all true. I paid $145 for acrylic full set with colour and shellac pedicure. They came out so bad and rusty. I regret going there and I definitely didn’t tip anyone because no one deserves it! Go there at your own risk!!!
