I adore Susie and Sue at Changing of the Garnet. Susie did an absolutely stunning job on a braided updo for me. It was so thoughtfully done and looked perfect while I danced the night away. I got so many compliments. The atmosphere at the salon is fun and accepting and the work is high quality and professional. 10/10 experience.

Having my hair done at Changing of the Garnet is always a personal highlight. Susie is an absolute angel. She’s funny, sweet, kind and quirky and really knows her stuff. She takes all of her stylists under her wing and teaches them her amazing ways to make sure everyone leaves happy - she’s been in this industry a long time! Highly recommend !

Changing of the Garnet is hands down my fave haircut place in Orillia, and I've tried them all. Shyanne, in particular, has taken my salon experience to a whole new level. She really listens to what you're looking for and combines that with her expertise to deliver results that are simply outstanding. The salon itself has such a welcoming vibe, making every visit a real pleasure.

Shyanne is not just talented; she's also incredibly professional and friendly, making you feel right at home. It's clear that she loves what she does, and it's reflected in the meticulous attention to detail she puts into every cut. I came to this salon today as I followed my curly hair stylist Jade to this unique salon. The Retro/Antique vibe is calming. Jade you seem extremely chill, and happy. ONLY down fall is the drive from Barrie.
