I just went to Chester's in Swift Current tonight for my 4th time. The last 3 times I went I was in love with it, I was telling everyone to eat there, the portions were large, the potato wedges were the longest wedges I've ever seen in my life and the chicken strips were large. I would say you definitely got your money's worth. When people heard I'd eaten there I'd highly recommend it to them. This is still a very new location, maybe opened 2 months ago.

Tonight was a different story. My chicken strips were tiny and pathetic, the smallest chicken strips I've ever had anywhere. One was as small as my pinky finger, another was as thin as a piece of bacon then they deep fry it for 7 minutes and it had the texture of beef jerky, all of the chicken was dry and overcooked because it was so small and thin. The wedges were at least 1/3 the size as the last 3 times we ate there.

I ordered 3 orders of 4 strips with 4 wedges and the total was $48, no drinks no dips. The first times I went there the food was consistent, same size, nice juicy chicken, big wedges. This time as soon as I opened the box me and my wife laughed out loud and I called Chester's immediately. I told the guy and he blamed the supplier. He said the chicken strips came to them smaller. I don't believe him. Why would the potato wedges be 1/3 the size too. I told him I know exactly what he's doing, he's cutting back the size so that they can make more profit. He told me if I come into the store he'll give me 4 more tiny chicken strips for free. I told him no thanks, I just wanted to let him know how disappointed I was and I won't ever be coming back because they aren't consistent and they are ripping off their customers.

In summary, stay away from Chester's, you never know what they are going to serve you. If that had been my first time I would of never went back but the first 3 times it was really good. All my friends that I ranted and raved to about how good it was now I'm going to contact them and tell them about my new experience so that they know not to go there because you might get ripped off and they'll blame the supplier. I suggest going to Chester's in Battleford at the Esso gas station. I've been going there for years and it's always consistent and delicious and well worth your money. Plus they have Chester fries there, french fries with Chester chicken batter on them.

Went there to check out this new place. Great atmosphere, but not what I expected. When I finished ordering my food, I was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. I waited, and waited for about 40 minutes till it was finally ready. When I opened my box I had saw that there were WEDGES & CHICKEN. I only ordered chicken! The WEDGES were why my food took so long, because the chicken was already ready! The workers were kind. But service was not great, did not feel like their first priority. 😕 overall that is why I gave it a 2 star rating.

I was there today to check out the new place, the place was busy and the phone was constantly ringing, i placed my order and the gentleman at the counter let me know it will take about 15-20 minutes, my order was ready in 25 minutes and he have me coleslaw ( i only ordered tenders) for waiting. Great service, will definitely go back.
I am more than happy to wait 20 minutes or more because then i know my food is made right then and fresh. The tenders tasted fresh and delicious.
He mentioned they gonna do drive thru soon and a vape store. Im excited for the drive thru.

Don't sleep on this place. Best chicken in town and both times i went there the order was ready faster than they said it would be. Chesters signature sauce is to die for as well

There is a bit of a wait for your order but they are cooking it fresh. The chicken is really good and the staff is super friendly.

They messed up our order but the food was incredible, I just recommend checking the bag before leaving. Had to wait about 15 minutes but it was super fresh so worth the wait!!

The place is very nice as are the workers inside I can say I've been there lots since they've opened and it's been good every time!
