Went 2 nights in a row because the Ginger Beef was so yummy & crispy the first night ... but unfortunately soggier & chewy the next night. Food is overall good and combo meals highly affordable and best value for a hot meal (you almost get the same amount of ginger beef in a $12 combo meal as you do in $16 order of it though). Service was Wonderful. Asian decor is lacking but it's Simple. Could use a few Artificial Plants to fill Voids in the Room and add some color 🌿.

This is a fairly good restaurant!

The interior is well decorated and modern with good spacing between tables! The menu is pretty straightforward and has a good variety.

Parking is good for the size of the restaurant and reasonably easy to maneuver in and out of.

Prices were fair.

We ordered a hot and sour soup, spring roll, dumplings and a set combo.

The soup was good, it's always good to see a good proportion of BBQ pork and some tofu in there. The flavors were as expected.

The spring roll was fair. Nothing super but not bad, very crunchy the filling could have been more various. The included amount of dipping sauce was ample though.

The dumplings were spot on, pork filled fried dumplings they also included a choice of various choices. I've never had that before we had the honey garlic but ended up putting soy sauce in there anyways it really is better!

The set combo was a chicken fried rice with 2 chicken sides. The portion was huge! The chicken balls were also spot on with a perfect batter to chicken ratio (lots of chicken). The other chicken side was also very very well portioned and had loads of veg and chicken in a delicious sauce.

My mother and I have always enjoyed china boats fresh meals,
However, our take out experience this time really disappointing , the food must have been made long before, spring rolls were fried previously made and was put in the fryer again to make it hot. The chow mein and guy ding, greasy soggy and mushy. I’ve never had such a greasy meal. Everything in my combo was greasy…. I’m not sure if I’ll go back.

Some of the best Chinese food on the go in the area. Fresh. Hot. Lots of flavour. Portion size is acceptable but I'd like at least one more chicken ball. Prices are good.

Back for the Holidays and had a wonderful supper at the New China Boat! The Service was good and fast with drinks and the food was very tasty. I've eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants over the years and this place did not disappoint me. Quality and portion sizes were great for the price. I didnt explore the fancy Chinese food choices but what I did have was very good. Most definitely put this place on your list to try out. Very clean and bright atmosphere also options for larger groups.
