A gem in the area. Very slow local tapas restaurant. Great ambience. Great food. The bar is amazing, Carlos made awesome cocktails. Great wine selection too. Love this little restaurant.

Casual spot with delicious tapas! Sat at the bar—my favorite. Open kitchen. The orange sauce on the duck confit was a touch sweeter than I like, but still very good. Tomato salad, done in a panzanella style was original and fresh. Highly recommend.

Chulo Tapas Bar is an absolute gem!
The food was outstanding—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
The cocktails were excellent, offering a unique twist that set them apart from other places I’ve been.
The ambience is cozy and fun, making it the perfect spot for a night out. It’s definitely our new go-to place in Penticton. Highly recommend!

Great and tiny...
Finally stopped by and it lived up to the hype.
Swung by from peachfest and had some eats n drinks. Cherry bombs n tapas, pork belly skewers.
So delish.
It's a must stop, especially during a summer evening in the South Okanagan..nice social.

This is the cutest tapas bar I’ve ever found. The ambiance is great. Service was exceptional. Drinks were very tasty and food was exquisite. We shared most of the tapas. We dug in too quickly to take photos of everything but the cherry bombs were a favourite at the table. Also the meatballs, prawns and mushroom phyllo. Everything was really amazing and I can’t wait to come back. This is a definite must in penticton.

An absolutely incredible Tapas bar in Penticton, that serves up honestly some of the best Tapas I’ve had outside of Spain.

Chulo has a small indoor restaurant and also an outdoor space too, but as we went along early we managed to grab a table. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and an open kitchen, so you can see and smell all the amazing dishes coming out.

We ordered a wide selection of their Tapas, and they all came along in the perfect order. I would write out my highlights of the dishes but in all honesty we enjoyed every single thing. The Albondigas and Tuna Tonnato were both sensational dishes - and both the desserts were great too.

The service was also fantastic, and all the team were so caring, knowledgeable and friendly. They also made some fantastic cocktails too!

Overall, the whole experience at Chulo Tapas Bar was perfection. The food was amazing, the staff were top-notch and I felt it was very reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

What a wonderful surprise. My fiancé and I decided to try this place last minute and we are so glad we did. The food was fantastic. Full of flavor and variety, and came out so quick! They were also many gluten free options. Be sure to try the little cheese stuffed peppers! We also loved the fact that food prices were very reasonable, drinks were unique and tasty, and the service was excellent. We will be back for sure.
