Our stay at this hotel was really good. The pool area was nice, though a bit outdated, but the waterslide was great, and the seating arrangement was well set up. The hot tub was quite small, but there was a shallow pool for little kids, which was a nice touch. The showers were convenient as well.

We had a room overlooking the pool, which made it quite noisy at times, but by bedtime, things had quieted down. The only downside to our room was the lack of good ventilation—we like our room cold, but there was no window to open, which was a bit disappointing.

Breakfast was great, especially for a complimentary offering. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The fitness room had big open glass windows, which was a nice feature, and it had everything needed for a good workout.

The hotel also had banquet rooms that worked well for our hockey team, making things easy for us. The location was excellent, and the room prices were very reasonable. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.

This was amazing. We have stayed in many affordable places in the Hat. This one is affordable, clean, quiet, and very well maintained. Front Desk attendant was friendly and went above and beyond to explain the layout and how to access facilities without going outside in the blizzard. We will be back again and again. Parking right outside of our room was a bonus to be able to warm up our vehicle.
The pool was amazing. Everyone who was utilizing it was very happy.

Great staff . Loved the pool . The only issue we had was the hockey parents, they took it upon themselves drink alcohol openly in the pool area. The party they had was load and lasted close to midnight. The smell of all the alcohol made my daughter nauseous. The drunk yelling and screaming in the hallway was a pain . It finally stop around 1am .

Was a great place for the money.
Front desk was polite and efficient. Very accommodating. Very clean and tidy.
Room was a bit warm, but they brought us a fan.
Honestly I'll stay here when in the Hat.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The rooms, pool area, lobby and restaurant were so clean and the decor was beautiful. I was told that when it was the Travel lodge it smelled terrible but there was no bad smell at all. The rates were super reasonable. The hot breakfast included was fresh and delicious. The pool/water slide was so much fun and my kids loved it. I can literally not say one negative thing about this hotel. Thanks for the hospitality

First off the price is exceptional especially when traveling across the country our room was more then accomadable even with our 2 kids and our dog. We enjoy the friendly family atmosphere an of course how could we not enjoy the waterside an pool. Breakfast was the best part ! An also comes with the room. Plenty of options for all. An we were not disappointed. Staff was more then polite and we couldn't have found a better spot when we travel. We even decided to stay extra wdays on our way back. Highly recommend .

The hotel seemed promising when I entered the lobby.
However, the room itself left much to be desired. The floor's corners were dirty, and the hard surfaces were streaked and somewhat greasy. The room ultimately just felt kind of dirty.
All the linens seemed clean.
There was also a lack of lighting. There were three lamps in total and all three on still had the room pretty dark. The lighting at the sink was terrible. And the faucet leaked when turned on.
The code for the wifi seemed to be only good for one night. I should not have to get a new code every day.
The rear entrance required a heavy hand to open.
The one thing I can speak highly of was the lady that checked me in. She was friendly and professional and made the process easy).
None of the issues mentioned above would have been able to be rectified during my two night stay, so it wasn't worth bringing up (that, and I also witnessed another guest's concerns be dismissed).
All-in-all it met my needs, but I will not be staying here again (not by choice, anyway). There are far better option in Medicine Hat within this price range.
