This place is truly magical! The property and accommodations are meticulously kept. Everything is somehow even better than the photos. We absolutely loved the proximity to some stunning hikes.

We got engaged on the patio of the cliff hanger and enjoyed an incredible dinner in the cafe after! The service from Ryan was perfect. And the food was fantastic. A few days into offering the new forager dinners, the chef accommodated a very unconventional request from us and delivered flawlessly!

We hope to come back again to enjoy this wonderful spot.

We stayed at Cliffs Edge Retreat for the last night of our 12 day road trip in Newfoundland, and our biggest regret is that we didn’t stay here longer. This place was absolute perfection for us!!

Our room, was L3 - a king studio with a patio facing the ocean. It had a kitchen, table, fireplace, sitting area and 10 foot ceilings. Entrance and exit is done with a code instead of a key. The Adirondack chairs in the deck provide the perfect place to curl up with a book and a drink. The room had air conditioning and a really comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. It was the most comfortable and inviting space of our trip by a mile.

The property is in a secluded and quiet location, right on the water. My husband hiked the east coast trail, and ended up at the hotel. It’s a great location for those exploring or hiking this area of Newfoundland. Some of the units have hot tubs, and there is a sauna that you can book a time to use.

We were lucky to be there a night where Forager was open for dinner - and had an extraordinary dinner. The chef had prepared some outstanding dishes that are perfect for sharing. My husband has declared this the best food of the trip!

When we return to Newfoundland (and we will), we will definitely be back at Cliffs Edge, this time for more than a single night. I highly recommend!

Nestled right on the bay, it's a gorgeous little treasure with amazing views. The rooms are high quality with amenities and furnishings you'd expect to find at a high end hotel. The views are breathtaking and the tranquility is par-none. I can't wait to come back again during the warmer months, especially when the whales are active!

Just back from 5 great days at Cliffs Edge Retreat. The accommodations were beautiful and really comfortable. We loved the hot tub. The kitchen was very well appointed. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with the Forager. With the East Coast Trial right on their doorstep, it's a great location. Thanks, Paula, for a memorable stay.

Absolutely stunning view, lovely modern decor with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and supplies for the fire pit. Perfect for our family of 4. It’s not often that a hotel or house rental exceeds my expectations from the listing photos but Cliff’s Edge did!

We had a small issue with our door code access but using the “guest portal” we were very quickly able to connect with the property manager and we were sorted out within minutes.

We are sure to return as there are so many activities on this peninsula!

We stayed one night in the attached seaside cottage in June 2024. The property is still partially under construction. But every form of accommodation there has an absolutely stunning view of the ocean - we saw whales, seals and even a fox right outside of our well-equipped cottage! The decor is lovely - cozy and modern and the beds and linens are super comfy! We loved our stay and would highly recommend Cliff’s Edge!!! The tap room and cafe also had great coffee, muffins, sandwiches and service.

While we didn’t use the hot tub nor sauna attached to our very nice cabin (cliff hanger), it was wonderful to have the amenities available. |Very clean. |Fully stocked kitchen in cabin|Nice to have a Google Nest speaker|AMAZINGLY NICE staff. |Can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

The staff are the most hospitable, accommodating staff of any place I’ve ever stayed. The entire resort has been beautifully renovated with spotless modern rooms and cottages. The ocean view is spectacular!! The cafe offers very reasonably priced breakfast and bar choices. My only complaint is there is no discount for stays of a week or longer.
