If you are cruising Lake Ontario, I recommend you stop at the Club and enjoy what Cobourg has to offer.

I rolled into the Club this past Sunday to deliver an Eight Metre back to Toronto. The Club had just hosted their three day LYRA regatta. All I heard from the crews were accolades on the hospitality and service. There was a definite buzz in returning for potential future events.

A decision was made not to move the boat(s) until Monday morning. "Special Thanks" goes out to Monica who took me in as her guest for the night. Much appreciated a warm bed, raisin toast, and hot cup of coffee prior to pushing off!!

Great people; casual, informal club: always fun!

Excellent town for bicycling and walking. Try the boardwalk west of the club, which is parallel to the natural beach, if you like a quiet experience.
The town's big beach (much loved by children of all ages) is to the east of the club. Bike rentals onsite.

Easy anchoring in Cobourg's sheltered basin if slips are unavailable. Dinghy to the club, which has a waterfront view.
