I recently visited the West Vancouver Community Centre, and I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and hygiene standards. The sauna, pool, and locker rooms were shockingly dirty and poorly maintained. It seems like the staff either don’t know proper hygiene practices or simply don’t care.

Basic cleaning essentials are severely lacking, making the whole experience unpleasant and even unsanitary. For a facility that serves the public, this level of neglect is unacceptable. It would be much better if they charged a higher fee but actually maintained a decent standard of cleanliness.

I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements because, in its current state, this facility is far from enjoyable🤢

It’s a top notch facility , great for families and all ages. Gym is well equipped and not crowded . The pool is great but the one problem I have is they don’t open enough lanes because they cater to swimming lessons . I go elsewhere to swim laps even though I live walking distance . Like 1-2 lanes all day . Not sufficient.

Beautiful new modern building and facilities. Very diverse what they offer from yoga, weight training, coffee shop, clean hot shower, basketball courts, to I think, gymnastics area.

Would come again.

Friendly, clean, many options, decent prices, and ta"boot theres an outdoor patio to drink that coffee.

This review is posted on a different google account because I do not want my name public. First off, I don’t take long breaks/rest periods, and if someone asks to use the machine I’m occupying during my rest I let them use it, and secondly this happened twice in one day, once where I was standing at the cable machines, and once when I was sitting on one of the many bench’s. Now on to what happened: I was told I was not allowed to use my phone during rest periods at the gym by gym staff and was told to just listen to my music or stand up and walk around, I don’t take long rests 2-3 minutes. I questioned why, I was told that the manger and people were complaining, about what I don’t know she never gave me an answer besides I’m not allowed to be on my phone, this is weird because this has never happened besides today.

I’d love for someone from the gym to reach out from the community centre/gym to let me know why this happened/why there’s now a no phone rule.

its a big place combined with other facilities. recreational area, for seniors for babies theres a health service. we came here today monday nov 26.2019 cause my girlfriend is pregnant and here for diabetes test and seeing a specialist.
theres also a swimming pool on left side. you can check the google maps what besides this place.
i like how this place have big areas. for services and people its ok since its my first time here.
just a question why this place on Google dont have any pictures.
and rating is low. just weird.
by the way lots of old peps are living here. like a lot we came here 9am and on bus and on the centre.

It is an excellent facility, access to Gym, swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna. Ice rings, and related with karate yoga, dance, swimming classes, basketball, youth centre, almost everything for everybody, it is very active community centre and always something going on. If you have family and looking for any activity just go there I am sure something is for you. It is adding a lot of value to our community and operating very friendly, hard worker crew members. It is a real pleasure to spend time there.

I WENT THIS place and wen I went to the changing room it was not bad but when I so the floor it was dirty that I so buyers and I w hated to throw up I am a member of the hobured country club and the difference is insan
