They are easily 5 star. Amazing flavor and quality, with exceptional pricing. The staff and owners are marvelous people and have made the cafe/shop a place I can't wait to return to. 5 packages of cheeses and a poutine later, I managed to stop myself for the day.

Top 10 Reasons Why Crystal Springs Dairy Company is Extraordinary
(In no particular order)

1. REAL DAIRY – What does this mean? All their products are made with %100 real dairy from their family owned dairy farm adjacent to the cheese factory. This means NO modified milk ingredients, no fillers, no preservatives etc. (Look at most mass-produced dairy in Canada and on the ingredients, you will see “modified milk ingredients” Ice cream, yogurt, cheese etc.)
2. LOVELY CAFÉ AND DELI ON SITE – the gals that run the store and café are sweet, polite, and professional. The premises are clean, with clean washrooms and ample seating indoor or outdoor on the patio that overlooks the AB prairie fields! The store stocks a wide variety of Dutch foods and locally made products.
3. GREAT AFFORDABLE FOOD – The founding family is Dutch so the menu features many Dutch delicacies as well as other options ex. Pork cutlets with gravy. Pricing is extremely affordable, think sandwiches for 5 people for under $30
4. SENIORS DISCOUNT AND LOYALTY PUNCH CARDS – Yes %10 off for seniors, loyalty punch cards and complimentary coffee!
5. FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED – Owned and run by the Beyer family. Their passion high standards and strict quality control are evident in all of their products
6. SQUEAKY FRESH CHEESE CURDS – Yup made fresh on site every Thursday!
7. CLOSE TO YQL AND 2 MIN FROM PARK LAKE – Nothing like a Dill Pickle poutine with fresh cheese curds after leaving the beach

10. OVERALL GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE – Oddly enough genuine great service has become very rare now. The Beyer family is clearly principle based and this is evident in all they do. We will continue to support them and frequent their facility whenever we can.

Brilliant country store with a wide variety of delicious cheeses, sour cream, yogurt. Many are made using A2 milk making them easier to digest. They have ice cream and coffee too!

I love this little store. I go for the large pails of greek yogurt but usually come away with more. They have a small selection of other Dutch Candies, cookies, spices and other. They also carry local honey and options for wine. The red pepper jelly in small jars is incredible. Tons of options for cheese!
