Potatoes and kebabs were delicious as well as Blackberry Yuzu cider. Service was great! It was a hot day, chilled cider would have been ever better.

Went on a busy weekend when a big bike race was in town. Got checked on by every single waitress working while waiting for a table. The girls were all super cute, friendly, and working their butts off. Some of the best service we've ever had. Food was delicious, loved all the dogs, and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

There is literally zero kid friendly food, change tables locked up, not a family-friendly place. Huge kudos to an excellent chef. Koftas are to die for! Gorgeous patio at night! But had to beg for service and for the bill. Charged for a beer that never came. Go without your family, and especially never with your Nana.

Lovely spot. Great atmosphere. Seemed like everyone had the most adorable and well behaved dogs with them. That's bonus points for me. Grabbed a growler fill to bring back home. Great stuff! Can't wait to get back there again!

What a gem! The beers, food, and people were all absolutely incredible. They’ve fostered a really sweet environment and experience that is so cozy and welcoming. Dog friendly! Great vegan options, and the food was out of this world. Not to mention the beers that were rich, unique, and delicious!

My previous review stated this was one of my favourite places to go for a beer. My view of that drastically changed today. Got up to a beautiful day today April 27, 2025 and decided to drive from my home in Comox to Cumberland brewing as we have done many times in the past. Upon getting there at 1:15 pm we were met by the door by a very unfriendly, middle-aged woman with shoulder length brown hair, wearing an orange sweater.
She very condescendingly spoke to us and told us in a stern voice. Wait by the door until we get some tables cleaned. A quick scan I noticed eight un occupied, clean tables and two tables with some dishes on them. We waited as she took her time, clean the tables, made several trips with glasses and dishes to the kitchen Completely ignoring us the entire time. During this time, a very polite young lady came up and apologetically told us she was just starting to work there and unfortunately, we would have to wait for the other woman. We waited several more minutes and decided to take our business elsewhere. We have supported this business since they’re opening day, we were there every Friday afternoon for many years and although we don’t frequent as often, we are still there six or eight times a year. When we have visitors from out of town, Cumberland brewing is always one of our stops to show them what a great small town brewery has to offer. I am extremely disappointed by the disrespectful, middle-age lady that we were forced to deal with today. However, this did make us decide to visit Ace Brewing in Courtney for the first time, and we had a wonderful afternoon.

I sincerely hope the wonderful owners of Cumberland brewing will not tolerate this rude and condescending staff member and will return to the fabulous service that we were used to.

K so we went around the Comox Valley to a few breweries that were good and some great. BUT THIS ONE. If I could create the most perfect beer list with the best food menu and a cute venue with the friendliest staff it would be this!!!! Look no further and get yourself to Cumberland Brewing, you will be a happy camper. It was 👍👍👍

We had cottage pie and yam loaf. Just right.
And while we were having lunch I saw the trail map, zowie, definitely returning soon.
And also many cool growler souvenirs around the room.
