It's a nice area in summer or spring too. They do offer some summer activities, like coaster, axe throwing,scenic and eagle chair.
But they only open on weekend now, may be they will open on weekday in summer.
You can have a meal, a drink in the bar and grill. A cup of coffee in the big patio. There are a huge parking lot for all.

Well-maintained trail with stunning winter views—just like the ones at the ski resort! Highly recommend ice crampons or snowshoes for a safe trek. No entry fee required, but if you're renting snowshoes from the resort, you'll need to purchase a Nordic Area ticket.

The hike to the lodge from the parking lot is less than 30 min. I would rate it as light and good for beginners. We have been twice—the first time we didn’t have to pay to enjoy the band but the second time they asked for $9 at the door to be seated inside the lodge. There is heated outdoor seating more suitable for people who value their hearing so we got our food and drinks and headed to the tent. That was a nice option for us.

Went for a little Thursday, night boarding with some friends from work. It was such a clear night and not very busy, almost no wait for the chair lift. There is still is quiet a bit a of snow for it being the end of Feb, so hopefully we still have a few weeks left before the season ends. Fingers crossed

Snowshoeing through Cypress Mountain’s “Lights to the Lodge” was an unforgettable experience. The 1-kilometre trail to the historic Hollyburn Lodge is beautifully illuminated with LED lights, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere as you walk beneath ancient Cedar, Fir, and Hemlock trees.  

Upon reaching the lodge, we warmed up with some delicious refreshments before embarking on the return journey, which was equally mesmerizing. The entire 2.5-kilometre loop is well-maintained and suitable for all skill levels, making it perfect for families, friends, or a romantic evening out. 

A few tips: arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure you have ample opportunity to enjoy the trail and lodge. Dress in warm, waterproof layers, and don’t forget your mitts or gloves. Also, remember that pets aren’t allowed on the trails. 

This experience offers a unique and magical way to enjoy the winter season. Highly recommended!

Lights to the lodge snowshoeing trail is one of our annual holiday traditions! The illuminated hollyburn loop is a very easy trail so don't expect a challenging expedition, they have other snow shoeing trails for that. Can get busy!
