Had a game rained out and needed to drown our sorrows before getting on the road, searched and found the d spot nearby. Was overwhelmed with the selection of deserts, if you're ready to chow down, bring an appetite. Cool layout and options. I had just wanted an ice cream and they had a tons of flavours. The three of us tried Pistachio, cotton candy and hazelnut. They were all great, and could tell they were freshly made with real ingredients. However, after paying 5 bucks for a baby cone at Kawartha Dairies with an incredible waffle cone, I was not happy paying nearly 30 bucks for three small scoops and a stale waffle.
Still, haven't tried the waffles or other cakes, will give them a try when I see another spot.

D Spot desserts are good, and the Guelph branch although smaller than others is doing a decent job. The chocolate lava cake was warm and moist and had chocolate flowing from the center, but with the cookies and the syrup on top was a bit too sweet for my taste, though the kids enjoyed it.

My favorite so far has to be the Drake Choco and Pistachio Croffle, fresh, decedent and the right amount of sweetness for me.

One thing I found very strange was the fact that tips do not go to the staff, rather the owner takes the tips. This is a cardinal sin in my opinion and must change.

Very friendly staff and amazing service. It was very quick and he even put the ice cream on the side so it wouldn't melt on the funnel cake as I drove home. I absolutely recommend this place. Not cheap but totally worth it. Portions are large and you can easily share. (If you want to)

Usually a great spot for something sweet. However, I’ve noticed portions are getting smaller…$20 for a small piece of cake. Please be better D-Spot.

Very disappointed. I ordered crepes, waffles and pancakes we had to wait an hour or so for our orders. Finally we received them and what? The crepes were so thick,pancakes wet(soggy) inside and outside dry. Waffle was dry and I didn’t try it all. I ask for refund the guy who was working there was very nice and gentle Somua and tried to help me out. But the manager was very rude. The lowest class lady. Definitely I will never ever come back here. As a junior chef very disappointed.

I love this place so much!!! It was my first time trying their funnel cake fries and i will definitely will buy it again and would try different flavor. Their cheesecake is amazing!! And the owner is very nice! Best place to go for sweet lovers!!

So glad this place came across my IG page. We drove to the Guelph location from Cambridge with the kids to check it out. WOW! The service was amazing and the store was so clean. The owner was such a joy to meet and was patient and informative as he took our order (the menu does not miss a beat - so hard to choose). We finally decided on a birthday cake tornado, classic strawberry funnel cake and a strawberry delight and fudge & caramel concoction funnel fries - SO GOOD! This has to be the best dessert spot yet. The portions are large so great to share your choices. Thankful we asked for them "To-GO". Everything was fresh and refreshing. We definitely left feeling full and satisfied. Well worth the short drive and we will definitely be back for more. Thank you D-Spot!

This is a nice place for an after-dinner meal, or perhaps a date. I ordered the Hit D Spot, which is a plate of Belgian waffles topped with ice cream and brownies. It was very good, but pretty filling so I had to share it with my brother. It took some time to make, though that was understandable given the size of the order, which was pretty big. I would suggest bringing someone to share your food with if you want to order one of the bigger desserts.
