Our stay at Dashwood Manor Seaside Bed & Breakfast was truly exceptional. The historical charm of this 1912 heritage home added a unique touch to our visit. We stayed in the Camelot room, which offered a stunning ocean view from the third-floor penthouse. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a king and double bed, a comfortable sofa, and modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, coffee area, and a spacious and private bathroom. The staff were incredibly polite and professional, enhancing our experience.||The location is perfect, right across from the oceanfront with miles of beautiful beaches and walking trails. We enjoyed the easy access to Beacon Hill Park, Cook Street Village, and downtown Victoria, all within walking distance. Victoria itself was a delight, with its clean streets, fantastic restaurants, and abundant attractions. Dashwood Manor is a perfect blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Absolutely loved our stay! Make sure you are hungry for breakfast! It is huge and has a lot of variety. We stayed in the Dorset room. Of course it is dated as the house is over 100 years old. The balcony had a sea view. The bed and sheet were super comfortable. Service was exceptional. It is really not that far outside of the main part of town. An Uber had us right in the heart of town in under 10 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay with perfect weather and a fabulous view of the ocean from our room. Dashwood is within walking distance of Beacon Hill Park and the Cook Village district. The staff was friendly and always available to answer questions and provide any assistance. The breakfast was outstanding as the chef made gourmet meals with generous portions. This is our 2nd stay at Dashwood and we would highly recommend it.

Very spacious room, clean, and classic.
Our breakfasts (which are included) were very fancy, delicious, and came in big portions.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a laundry on the top floor for everyone to use.

Dashwood Manor exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Windsor Oak room and it was magical. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Lots of historical charm if you want to go somewhere quaint but close to all the action of Victoria. Excellent location right near the water, and an easy 25 minute walk to downtown. The breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend Dashwood Manor for a romantic getaway.

Beautiful property. Old world charm and elegance. We stayed in the Chelsea room. Fantastic bathroom, with a giant deep bath ( best we found in the 6 weeks we were in Canada and Alaska )|Very talented chef- breakfasts were amazing, with locally sourced ingredients |Amazing staff- very friendly and helpful |Lots of little extras - freshly baked biscuits available all day in the breakfast room, as well as soft drink, water, coffee and tea |Great location - easy flat walks to harbour and city. Beautiful gigantic park ( think Centennial park Sydney ) on your doorstep |Fantastic stay ❤️❤️

Very nice people and a lovely location. Common areas are quaint. Bed was confortable. Loved having cookies available at all times. Yum!|Our room (Fairfield) needs updating. Holes in the wall, cracked tile, uncomfortable chairs, old outlets (my plug kept falling out and not close enough to the bed). Insufficient room to set things and hang towels in the bathroom. Insufficient curtains to cover the window (needs 1-2 more panels). |The breakfast room is lovely, however, we were disappointed in the breakfasts. Overcooked eggs and bacon. Not ready early enough. Consider offering muffins or other take aways for those days when guests can't wait until 9:30 to finish breakfast.
